December 2015 NPD (U.S. Hardware) Predictions - Closes January 12th

Has anyone figured out the GAF prediction averages for the month so far? Obviously, most (it not all) have the PS4 well ahead of XB1 for December, but just wondering by how much as an average.

Alright -- Well I'm looking forward to whatever happens (haha). Hoping that this means both consoles did much better than expected (instead of worse).

I would say it doesn't actually mean anything for either console. Kev did the same thing last month: he just likes to troll and get the fanbases riled up (see: every The Last Guardian thread until E3 2015).

It's fun to watch though.

You know something MAUGAF, I was just mowing the front lawn and it struck me. It was like Phil Spencer himself smacked me upside the head and told me "Open your eyes!". I did, and it was breathtaking.

Everyone's lawn was GREEN

Anecdotal evidence, I know, but from deductive reasoning, I came to the conclusion that everyone else's lawn was green. Green is the color of Xbox, and I have an Xbox One, so if I have an Xbox One and my lawn is green, this must mean that everyone that has a green lawn purchased an Xbox One!

Xbox One will win December.

The emphasis on "WHOLE" is to throw us off? Xbox one=Xbox won? The WHOLE month merely indicates a large gap? Grasping at straws here, not good at this stuff.

But what if the ratio of people owning a front lawn has been declining and richly covered backyard gardens complete with trees and plants are gaining more traction?

Sure you may mow your lawn once every 2 months but people with rich gardens are much more inclined to work on their garden on a weekly basis with an extended toolset, thus being a much more monthly active user.

I've got nothing.

Bye, Kev. Ain't nobody got time for dat.

I just hope both consoles do well and we can hold off the "consoles are dead" gang for one month longer.

I am so happy Xbox colour wasn't brown.

He could make so much money with knowing NPD results in advance.
And what does he do? Teasing a bunch of weirdos on the internet.
Good guy Kev.

My prediction is Super Mario Maker in the top 10 just in time for Christmas - entirely derived from the Amazon December numbers.
Also Halo passing 2 million physical for the year and also making the top 10
