Looking at Twitter and some news outlets and forums, people are already doing that.
I'm going to make a prediction, without knowing anything about the ps5 at all, most people are going to predict the ps5 has more TFs based on inconsistent, untrustworthy, incongruent "insider" misinformation and just pure hope. Me? I have no idea which but I do know Sony's said nothing and I predict most "insiders" have nothing.

At this point, what the fuck does it matter if PS5’s TFs aren’t exactly the same as XSX? At the end of the day, the only thing consumers are going to care about are the games and we already know Sony has those in spades. So what is MS bringing to the table?

Digital Foundry has also talked about hardware decompression, so XSX will be far supperior than even much faster SDD on PC. Dealer has compared sea of thieves load times on his evo 970 3.5GB/s and XSX was still over 3x times faster (15 seconds on 970 vs 3-5 seconds on XSX).
Sony is probably also using hardware decompression so I dont want to know how they are going to port next gen games on PC without equally good SDD.

that performance was surprising to say the least. from what I understand they had 50% higher particle density and SS-RT lighting added ontop of the max PC settings... that all at 4K and 100fps is crazy and above what I expected to be honest.
because this is not optimized code, a dirty port from One X to Series X, and the SS-RT lighting didn't even use the RT hardware (not that it is that taxing but the RT hardware could have given them a few FPS more I guess)

2. Closed box gaming focused setup will outperform similar specd PCs comfortably, something VFX said is a myth smh.

Sure, Tommy did get the numbers for the Series X right and maybe 13 TF for the PS5 was right at a certain point in time, months ago, it's likely Sony tuned the system and changed the numbers so PS5 can operate at optimal performance and not overheat. Might explain all the numbers lower than 13 we've been hearing from OsirisBlack (12.4) and Odium (11.6).

But remember Gears 5 on PC was using limited RT for certain ultra effects, and on XSX there are using HW RT to offload these demanding calculations (digital foundy has explained all of that in their video), so thats why game is running much faster now. Basically speaking Gears 5 is more potimized now than PC verison.

they specifically mentioned no RT hardware was used. they literally said it in the video that the RT lighting was not supported by the RT cores.
and the game ran at above PC Ultra with higher particle density and other enhancements. the raytraced global illumination is a new addition btw.
