Even if the PS5 is slightly less powerful compared to the Series X, that doesn't mean there aren't features specific to the PS5 that make it "the most exciting hardware in 20 years". I think that's moreso what devs would be referring to.

I'd love Sony to take the same approach as MS in terms of the memory expansion but as a little nod to the past they should style them the same as PS1/PS2 memory cards.

1TB cards can be light grey with dark grey text, the classic PS logo and 1TB written on them with rounder corners.

Eventual 2TB cards can be black with blue/light grey text, a more modern PS logo and 2TB written on them with squarer corners.

I'll do a couple mock-ups if I have a mo'.

I love how expensive "memory cards" are back too ..

I'd like one that looks like the old PS2 cards.. they seem to be the right size too..

Some of these predictions, knowing that we know the BOM, are pure fantasy. But god they're funny.

We know an estimation of the boms based on some rumors, nothing concrete from ms/sony themselves. It's all a guessing game at the min.

Only disappointing thing is that I doubt we see the final PS5 console design tomorrow. Like the box. I think this will be a lot like that February 2013 event for PS4. They showed the controller, but not the box until June.

Also, just want to point out my dumb shit post asking for Phil daddy and Cerny papa to gimme the specs.... and we got the entire Xbox spec blowout the next day. And now PS5 specs 2 days later. You’re welcome. Just gotta ask nicely sometimes.
