Nobodys bashing PS5. They're just stating XSX is more powerful. Stating facts and bashing are two separate things.
XSX is 12TF sustained at all times for devs to play with. PS5 is more like 9.2tf with the potential to temporarily boost to 10.2tf for the Michael Bay moments. However, the console will not be able to stay in boost reaching up 10.2 at all times without major heating issues,hence the need for variable clocks. Its really straight forward

Little bit confused by this, so when the xbox does not need all the power the chip still remains at the same speed, locked. Why would they not take advantage of a system that would let them use less power if they don't need it. I am not really a technical guy but It seems like an oversight in design or just plain laziness?

I think it's time for everyone on the internet to live with the fact about XSX has a better specs than PS5.

It's not complicated. Devs are allowed to push the XSX to the max of 12tf at all times, not just the temporary Michael Moments because it has far more CU's at far lower clocks to prevent heating issues. 10.2tf is the ceiling for the PS5,however given the high clock speeds, the boost mode is only for the Michael Bay type moments. Devs can not push the PS5 in boost mode at sustained clocks or it would have significant heathing issues. Hence, why there is variable clocks. I suspect PS5 will run in the 9.2tf neighborhood most of the time.
XSX's higher CU counts at lower clocks allows for sustained performance, where as a much lower CU count at significantly higher clocks creates heating issues, hence the need for variable clocks/boost mode. PS5 can only run in the high boost mode reaching the max of 10.2tf only temporarily during the most stressing points in games

No, you're spreading FUD. Cerny didn't confirm that. The GPU and CPU being locked at a sustained clock of 2230Mhz will creat significant heating issues. That's why they went with variable clocks and not sustained.
Its not difficult to grasp.
Its why many believe MS chose the right direction. Significantly more CU's at much lower clocks allows for greater performance with less heating issues.

Don't you guys find it strange that PS5 is exciting for Developers who create games and always praised by unbiased people? eg PC only YTers and other gaming channels.
There might be a reason for that which is the mighty impressive SSD and the I/O block that keeps bottlenecks to the minimum.

It's 10.3tflops, so it might go down to 10.2 in very rare circumstances, as he mentioned a 'couple percent drop' in frequency. Or 10.1.

Cerny said too that in most of time it runs at max clock and the small drop in clocks happens in some workloads.
So it is hard to understand how anybody things PS5 will run anywhere close to 9.2TFs unless the guy saying that have a strong bias.

Cerny was clear about just in some workloads the clock will drop and the drop is a coup of percent only.
So unless you have a strong bias 9.2TFs is far from the truth... it will probablystay close to 10TFs even when dropping the clock.

I guess that it is difficult for people with lower than average IQ to understand that when people are talking about PS5 and it's specs, it doesnt somehow mean that now xsex is said to be slower and because of that it must be reminded in every corner.
Normal people saw that PS5s theoretical gpu/cpu power is less than xsex when we saw the reveal, but xbots still have to repeat that a week later.
Maybe they dont remember is it "12 > 10" or "12 < 10" and have to repeat it?

The so called devs excited for PS5 are either PS5 first party devs or ex-first party devs. The rest are just "both are good" and being quoted as devs excited for PS5. XSX on the other hand had a ex-Guerilla Games and ex-Space X/Valve guy praising them for being better. If you are to quote this youtuber then I will also say Austin Evans said XSX is significantly better.
