Metacritic user ratings are a joke when i comes to exclusive games. Tons of 0/10 and 10/10 from people that haven't played it and probably never will.

If I recall correctly, Ellie being gay wasn't a plot point in the original story line itself, it came up in in the DLC. But that still made it common knowledge long before the second one.
There's definitely trolls complaining about her being a lesbian, but I also think there are people with legitimate concerns about the plot and writing of the second game.
Anyway, I agree with the notion that people are being idiotic on both sides of the spectrum on this issue if they aren't judging based on their own experience with the game.

To be fair, Pokemon Sword and Shield break all the sales record and I still find a mediocre game. Not defending this behavior because is dumb and invalid the proper critics about the game.

I agree, however, the people giving it positive reviews at least have played the game for themselves.
Whether or not you believe their review score is a genuine reflection of their opinion on the game depends on whose opinion you trust. That's what reviews are, opinions and impressions. They are not gospel.
Could some of those perfect scores be inflated to favor good relationship with Sony, very plausible. I'm not so naive as to deny that possibility.
However, you honestly think a game was just released mere hours ago, that is currently being inundated with negative user review scores is the result of genuine impressions?
I've already stated that it's perfectly valid to not like a game and review it negatively if you've actually played it. That's clearly not what's happening here, and that's what I'm criticizing.

It depends on the person, I would argue most big problems people have with the game involve elements most of us knew about at least a year prior to release via marketing materials. One element most people had assumed since the original teaser, as well. There's also those who saw spoilers and will analyze exactly how these things play out (not always with full context). Some of them will tell you they've watched hours of the game in a row since it's been streaming, but even that sort is judging a GAME strictly on what they see, not what they experience.

Again, you're saying this, but it isn't true. There were 10's being given as soon as the metacritic scores were open, those people did not play the game.

Do you honestly think that? Many of the warriors didn't play it, They just want to raise the score for their favorite platform. At this point nobody has finished a 25+ hours game and even in a few weeks there will be Sony warriors rating it 10/10 and never play it. Also some Nintendo/Xbox/Pc or anti SJW/LGBT people will keep giving it bad ratings. That's how fanboyism and fanatism work.

It's much better on Steam, where people need to own it, the review shows you their hours played and assuming their profile isn't private or something you can also check what achievements they've gotten. If you really want to troll something yeah, you could use 3rd party programs that give you Steam achievements for games when you did nothing but buying a game and doing that just to seem legit when you tear down a game is kinda crazy.

Like, Ellie being lesbian and the games dealing with lgbt issues seem to be part of the creative process to me,its natural. the writting team seems to be enjoying making these characters deal with their sexuality in a realistic post apocalyptic world.its no different from movies or tv series wich these games are trying to emulate so much
