If your game is not buggy in some way then your project wasn't ambitious enough.the greatest games in history are buggy
I'm not talking about Cyberpunk specifically, just early access in general. With my previous points, i think its a good solution given how much bigger and complex games are getting nowadays. Are we talking about pretending its retail like they did? Or acknowledging a game is in early access? Some of my favorite things are also born of bad situations, that doesn't exactly change that I want the situation to get large and incorporate other more solid foundations.
I think this is more of an issue with physical games rather than offline single player ones. There is a big issue with this because it's totally alienating offline players. Once again, Cyberpunk is supposed to be a single-player game "no bullshit" involved. It should not take a multitude of patches to get the game to where it needs to be.
The game once again should be in early access itself officially or beta or some shit if they want to patch in a finished product.
No they should have made sure that the inclusion befits the resources spent.
What are you...even talking about?
the less features you give the player the less things they have to complain about if those features are not perfect. that's what i'm talking about.
in the witcher you couldn't kill civilians - nobody cared.
you couldn't talk to them and they didn't have routines - nobody cared
no police ai - nobody cared.
you couldn't create your character (but you could change hairstyle) - nobody cared
no different cars to drive - nobody cared.
no life paths - nobody cared.
no deep progression system - nobody cared.
now they added those things (some of them better than others) so you are giving the people ammunition to bash the game if they are not happy with how those system works. the lesson here is remove them unless you can implement those systems in a perfect way.
What...are you even talking about? No police what? No cars what?
Being willfully obtuse isn't the way to elevate a game's discussion. I get that you are somehow personally involved and emotional about it. But pretending doesn't help anyone nor babbling.
Good, PC gamers are very happy with Cyberpunk and will preorder Cyberpunk 2 the moment it will be announced.
I just hope that being a PC oriented company will let CDPR to develop for PC as a primary platform and they will not butcher future releases for a more stable console versions like Ubisoft did with all AC games after AC Unity.
Cyberpunk is currently my all time favorite RPG
this is hardly CDPR's fault. like im wondering where all the outrage is for EA, they sold a Star Wars game with 4 maps, then the rest as DLC. what about Fallout 76, launched with no NPCs, and a zillion glitches and bugs. did gaming journalism freak out on them? i don't recall any warnings printed that EA was trying use digital gambling on kids. everyone cheered like kids on Christmas when MS bought Bethesda.
early access is apparently ok if it has a popular brand name behind it. Cyberpunk's only crime is not being called Fallout or Skyrim or Star Wars.
I agree with you, I'll just add I hope they make RPG's again, which Cyberpunk is not, sadly.
CP2077 has way more roleplaying mechanics than Witcher 3, so no idea what you mean with again, and this time the combat its actually fun with a real skill tree and meaningful paths that affect how you play.I agree with you, I'll just add I hope they make RPG's again, which Cyberpunk is not, sadly.
Not really how this works. Next time investors will be wary, same for media outlets reviewing the game, same for buyers and even platform holders so the mess up can’t be repeated.
Tell EA and Google this. I don't see if with many IPs that EA owns. And Google seems to be going against this with Stadia.
Great. So in the future we can look forward to AAA releases rushing releases, spending a shitload more on viral marketing, and hiding the state of the game. Fuck
i don't know if worse but it definitely runs at 25 fps with dips to 20. also skyrim was literally unplayable. 96 metacritic... lol
There's a mod that completely removes stuff like levels and makes it more like an action/adventure game.Well, many would argue that neither was The Witcher 3.
I would actually argue that The Witcher 3 would be better as an action game.
a new new vegasIt's a good game with some jank. This will end up being a New Vegas of games.

thats a shit ton, now fix it and give me a third person mode for melee fighting. Get me some fucking animations, cant be that hard with all that money.

The lies and deception worked.
Wait an year and it should be fine.I just wish we would get full finished game day one, then we could just talk about how good/bad it is without all this drama.![]()
Now just give me a nice fully 3D open world RPG set on a modern/futuristic cityUndeserved. Dumb motherfuckers should buy some games that work with their money.
It's not my favorite from the gen, but I'm really enjoying it. I would definitely put it in my top 15-20. The circle jerk on this game has been wild, people calling it an absolute piece of garage must hate the genre, or haven't played for more than five hours. Of course I'm playing it on Series X, so it runs fine for me.I mean, aside from the bugs and awful old gen versions (for which there is no excuse), it’s imo the best game of the entire generation. The characters, storylines, the size and scope of the world, I’m not even sure something will top it this generation.
I hope everyone who got screwed by the old gen versions gets a refund but for the rest I think it’s well deserved.
lol "in the future" you are tripping if you don't think this shit has been going on for a while.Great. So in the future we can look forward to AAA releases rushing releases, spending a shitload more on viral marketing, and hiding the state of the game. Fuck
yes the kind of robbery where you work hard on a game for 8 years and then sell it to people. just like robbers and thieves. The greatest robbery ever pulled off
