Between Halo Infinite and FH5 this Christmas it looks like my PS5 with additional empty 1tb M.2 storage will be gathering dust. Anyone want to rent it from me for the festive period?

The flow looks much better and more chaotic. I am worried the map is going to turn into an icon filled ubisoft open world judging by the little that the showed of what the side missions are. I don't need the same mission type repeated 100 times from Halo.

i just hope the „world“ they showed isnt all there is. seeing those forest trees will get boring fast but other than that it looks very fun and it will be my first halo.

Tell me about it. Why didn't they just upload at 4k then publish instead of livestream ffs. Can tell they've followed the ubi template a lot and I agree with the person who compared it to Far Cry and maybe a little Just Cause in there. However, looks like a fun campaign to co-op so in like Flynn. Probably just fuck about in the sandbox until co-op is added like.

I don't get it with 6 minute videos but it's to stop people scrubbing through the video. It doesn't seem like it's ever going to change sadly, everyone is stuck with YT Premiere and it's shitty compression.

Halo Infinite now looks as good as you could realistically expect it to look. Which is really good especially considering its cross gen. Then we have the awesome multiplayer and upgrades such as ray tracing after launch. Personally this is the Halo game the Series X deserves and I'm glad they originally delayed it.

I don't get you guys. The game looks fun just by that it is already an improvement over Halo 5. Graphically doesn't impress but it's good enough and the gameplay seems to be fun enough to carry it out.

I was absolutely hyped, until they showed Bosses with Health bars and what looked like a RPG Skill-Mechanic.
Also, this "Outpost" thing aka "Clear Silos!" looked like a straight Ripoff from Just Cause to me.
Liked the Battlefield 2042 nod though.

I love everything Halo and will Day-1 this, but it feels like this just continues the downwards trend in gameplay and Story that 343 has been riding on since Halo 4.
Graphics looked way better than first reveal though.

I think that Xbox One version will be supplied with XCloud version, which is probably going to be ready when this game hits. It's already up for Insiders. But sadly that does not really change much, I don't expect them to rewrite a ton of code...

But the MP portion is already on Xbox One, so maybe campaign, will be different, which push more details than the MP.

Also it was really 6:20 long, interesting.

4K looks Crisp! I have to say I enjoyed the more open areas of Halo games more than the corridors. Winter Contigency is one my fav levels. And this is like open areas connected together. Really excited for this!!

Halo needs a good, well written campaign with amazing scripted moments and player/physics driven excitement, not just another barren open world directionless fetch quest full of bullet sponges.

I liked what I saw. Looked hot. Escharum at the end looks like CGI it's crazy. The 4K video really brought out the texture details. Worth rewatching

It does look Just Cause + FC5-y but I played those for hundreds of hours combined so I'm happy enough with the Halo flavour on that with hopefully some unique additions, visuals are kinda disappointing its not bad by any stretch of the imagination, it just feels like older visual, physics and animation techniques for the most part to me.

Well, it looks much better than last year but all projectile, explosion and light-based effects look pretty underwhelming IMO. It sticks out like a sore thumb, because I think most other things look alright.
