Yup. Money talks. Companies will do anything to sell extra units.Most of these companies that implement this type of stuff are not genuine and don't actually care, they just want to have a positive image by pandering to people. Also, assuming its true that they took out the homosexual references and things in the Middle Eastern copies of the game, that further proves they're just tools.
Nobody should ever follow what a company PRs. Instead, follow their business strategies..... assuming you know what they do because nobody outside the Middle East would know they edited LBGT parts to satisfy the government unless gamers there compared their version to the rest of the world.
So for all the California Insomniac employees making a game with supportive content about LBGT, notice how they adjusted the game and all shut their mouths about it.
