oh shit. I want to be part of history.
Look at me mom
Look at me mom
OP is having meltdown and nothing is confirmed.
Someone please keep an eye on this mf .
touchéI think you have it backwards. Doesn't it look more like they bought successful publishers and changed MS policies to match the new acquisition's policies?
There’s going to be a new “gamer” lawsuit against MS.

Real talk for a second. Always loved being part of this server, we had some really great years and moments here. I made friends here. Depending upon what's next I'll eventually retire "Klobrille" persona and disappear. It's a process that started last year already for me, I lack the excitement and energy for what's next, plus I'm shifting my focus on other, non-public things. You'll see when the time has come, but until then, this will likely be my last message here. Much love![]()
You should be concerned for gaming sub services that's it. Plenty of people kept saying it's not sustainable and destroys software sales.I must say, I'm concerned about the health of gaming when we see big companies like Sega and now MS doing poorly in the console space.
Many PS2 first party games were $39.99 during a time of absolute market dominance, and they had $20 greatest hits. Are you ready for $99.99 games?
I can't wait for GTA VIAre you ready for $99.99 games?
This perfectly explains why I like Xbox, lots of variety of games for different things you might be going through/ wanting to experience at that time (chill on grounded, sea of thieves, kill shit in halo etc, drive around in Forza) if you know what I mean.
I love the graphics and the budgets of Sony’s first party, there amazing. But I don’t actually enjoy playing the majority of them.
(I do have a PS4 so I can still play gravity rush, shadow of the colossus, god of war 3 remake etc)
These days I’ll just wait until they come out on pc.
I’m all for Xbox going to PlayStation if it means the money is reinvested into more 1st party games and experiences.
Potential sequels for killer instinct, Hifi rush etc if they sell well over all systems released on.
Good riddance. You're not alone OP, your good ol friend Klob also packed it all in.
Its what they will soon have to accept. Are you ready for $99.99 games?
That would somehow be funnier lolYou know........folks really should be allowing for the possibility that Phil Spencer comes out and says all these rumors are bullshit.

Jesus fucking wept. Attention seeking much? You're not alone OP, your good ol friend Klob also packed it all in.

Sony will increase their prices and the others will follow. This is how it always works. You realize publishers set prices, not Sony? Sony only sets prices for their first party games, Xbox leaving the hardware market won't impact 3rd party publishers prices.
You just wrote the next Silent Hill. But this move has been really unfair to their player base. So many people bought into their promise of a grand future of exclusives especially after the Bethesda buy out etc.
This is total BS.
I'm NOT having a meltdown.
OK.
I'm having a meltdown.
They were competing with Dreamcast, Gamecube, and Xbox during this period. Games were $49.99 by the end of the generation, IIRC.Many PS2 first party games were $39.99 during a time of absolute market dominance, and they had $20 greatest hits.
damn, the Play Station Monopoly sounds better by the day.Sony will increase their prices and the others will follow. This is how it always works.
Can't be always how it works since it has not happened before where there was no 3rd hardware manufacturer in the race. When Dreamcast left, Xbox entered. No history to show anything like this happening.Sony will increase their prices and the others will follow. This is how it always works.
I didn't realise owning an Xbox meant you had shares in Microsoft. I need to get at them for my dividends.People are more upset about what this means for their investment into the platform.
Nothing wrong with your post to me my man. You have a right to be pissed about the rumors.
Tbh I’m legitimately concerned about my digital library now. Of course it’s not going to disappear tomorrow but will it still be accessible in 15 years time?
I said it yesterday and Ill say it again...people better get used two nintendo and sony only future. and they wont be competing with eachother so.....sony can set their next gen terms unchallenged (price, specs). Totally bracing for that 6-700 PS6! I got no choice anyway. none of us will. unless you want an unpowered switch 2 that will only play a fraction of what 3rd parties put on PS.
PS will be the high performance, default console you buy. and its not like there is an alternative, so we just gotta go with the flow. and nintendo fans will buy whatever nintendo puts out. the end.
Yes. I meant stock investment...I didn't realise owning an Xbox meant you had shares in Microsoft. I need to get at them for my dividends.
Sony always sets the retail price increases. Can't be always how it works since it has not happened before where there was no 3rd hardware manufacturer in the race. When Dreamcast left, Xbox entered. No history to show anything like this happening.
The one company who even comes close is Nintendo. How much more expensive are their games/hardware than when the PSP/Vita were on the market?
Pissed about a rumor and having a discussion about said rumor is one thing, but people are treating them as fact already and reacting as such which is funny, yet entertaining I would say lol
They had no competition during PS2. Xbox is barely competition now with PS5. Scaremongering isn't working. They were competing with Dreamcast, Gamecube, and Xbox during this period. Games were $49.99 by the end of the generation, IIRC.
Activision and EA: Am I a joke to you?Sony always sets the retail price increases.
