Assetto Corsa EVO raises the bar of realism that has made the franchise one of the most popular driving simulations of the last decade even higher.

As with its predecessor, Assetto Corsa EVO will include cars from different classes spanning across years of motoring history. From road cars, classics, hypercars, and race cars. The most iconic representation of the automotive and motorsport world. Each vehicle is reproduced through Kunos in-house physics and graphic engine simulating mechanical, electronic, and aerodynamic performance, combined with the fidelity of the circuits created using Laserscan technology.

In Early Access 1 you will be able to experience a range of vehicles, tracks and game modes that will evolve on the road to our full 1.0 launch.

With the launch of a new KUNOS Simulazioni proprietary, high-performance photorealistic engine, VR and triple screen support have become first-class features and the new mathematical model meticulously simulates asphalt performance in different dynamic weather conditions that guarantees an authentic and realistic experience which will redefine the standards that have made Assetto Corsa globally renowned.

I thought EA WRC had the worst VR experince in any simgame but AC EVO had raised(or lowered) this bar.

Absolutely terrible performance on Quest 3
Why ? I didn’t watch any video yet but I want to.

Is his PC not powerful enough ? Or it’s just bad implementation?

Also how is the graphics compared to GT7 which is still the king imo

Any impressions on controller support? The original assetto had terrible controller implementation. Tons of sliders to tinker with, but I could not find something that worked for the life of me. I spent hours upon hours tweaking, testing and following guides to no avail. It's the one thing that keeps me from buying this.

compressed YT footage isnt the best judge but it honestly still doesnt match GT7 on that front. Car models are on point and environments look good, but the colors and lighting are still not up to that standard

I'm not sure if going back to their own engine and ditching all of the content and mechanics they had so far was a good idea. Judging by the early impressions the performance is not good and it's going to take them ages to rebuild all of that stuff again. 15 planned tracks for the final release is also not a lot.

Locking singleplayer career / progression behind always online is another terrible decision - have they not noticed how people react to such a requirement in Forza Motorsport or TDU Solar Crown?
