I wanted one so bad when I was like 13.
Man, I've played this more times than I would like to admit.
ROG Phone 9 Pro

I’m using iPhone 13 Pro, in January it will be 3 years, works perfectly. You guys are really burning money.
OnePlus 13 is about to release. And Redmagic 10 pro is about to launch.Asus ROG 9, probably
but most phones with a good chip will do
maybe a OnePlus 12R
Sounds like you want an Xbox
Ah, the Xperia Play...Sony Ericsson feature phones were amazing. You got nothing better than this.

Redmagic has an actual cooling fan built in so performance is usually top notch for the price. Their software and update policies though are …
Next gen Qualcomm chipset is going to be releasing basically next few weeks in a lot of Chinese phones and Samsung will have S25 series in Jan. I would wait and decide which one makes the most sense.
Or just buy a Steamdeck / ROG Ally X or Ayn Odin 2 Portal if you must have Android. These would make a lot more sense.
Alternatively Odin 2 or the new Odin 2 Portal would be good. And if it’s JUST for games, Redmagic is always great bang for the $. Just I wouldn’t use it as my main phone.the OnePlus 13 will cost 1K
he doesnt need to pay that much to play games. The 12R is more than enough. Good performance, good screen, good battery
One Plus is also a good suggestion.ROG Phone 9 Pro or Nubia Redmagic 10 Pro
The reason these are the best phones are:
Using the latest Qualcomm 8 Elite SoC
Improved cooling
Big Batteries
Additional Buttons
Additional ports like a second USB C
Nothing else can be compared to them in terms of raw power and cooling while gaming.
If you want something cheaper, try to look at the Poco F series fm wa.
They often have a pretty good SoC for a low price but lack things like a good cam etc.
I'm looking to buy a new phone that can handle both gaming and daily tasks, but the reviews online are pretty divided. I don't need the latest flagship model, just something capable of playing games like Arknights, and Honkai Star Rail, and still be good for regular use like YouTube, WhatsApp, etc. Any recommendations?ROG Phone 9 Pro or Nubia Redmagic 10 Pro

It'd be easier if you gave country and budget. Outside of the US, you get better access to a bunch of Chinese phones that pack recent flagship Snapdragon chips but aren't expensive by US standards. Haven't played Arknights but I know Honkai is easy to run on recent phones and I bet Arknights Endfield would run fine even on like a Pixel 8/8 Pro. Anything I've seen about the Red Magic phones even though I want one is that after a couple years your phone may end up getting out of date software-wise and wallets with NFC payment support may stop working. I think Dimensity phones are really capable. Something with the recent Dimensity 8400 should handle Honkai easily and very likely Arknights Endfield tooI'm looking to buy a new phone that can handle both gaming and daily tasks, but the reviews online are pretty divided. In the past Poco (a Budget make from Xiaomi) had pretty cheap phones with good / high end spec SoCs. You often had some drawbacks on the cameras or in the software update policies (custom roms help a lot)
Maybe the to be released Poco F7 or F7 Ultra will be for you. In china they sell it under the Redmi name
Or you try to get a older flapgship phone.
In the end it depends on what your current phone is, how big your budget and maybe how often you change/update your phone.
I switched from a Samsung S23 to a S25 Ultra and the jump is pretty huge (8 Gen 2 vs 8 Elite).
In terms of efficiency and heat the 8 Elite is much better (the bigger phone helps with the heat too).
IMO anything after a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ is a pretty biefy phone for games and espacially daily tasks. The only differences will be, the newer the SoCs are, the better will be the heat dissappation/ battery time.
The Redmagic is already a pretty cheap phone for its gaming capabilities, but you have dome drawbacks on the update policies, cameras and IP protection.
Maybe we could give better suggestions at www.jewelcars.co.uk, if we know your budget and current phone
