As someone from the outside looking it, what does that mean exactly?

Like, does this mean more people are buying the base game and then buying the upgrade than people buying the Vault Edition in the first place (meaning people love the game and want more)? Or is that a Game Pass upgrade which is eclipsing buying the full Vault Edition outright?

I only ask because Game Pass is mentioned in the OP.

It means that lot of people are upgrading their Gamepass version.
