In an interview with GameSpot, game director Sebastian Kalemba and executive producer Małgorzata Mitrega reveal some interesting details about The Witcher 4. When asked about whether fans can expect any romance in The Witcher 4, Kalemba highlights that it will definitely be there, as it is a part of the way CD Projekt Red makes games. Highlighting that it is a part of human nature, they go on to add that it will not be possible to tell the full story without portraying romance.

If you'r forcing players to play as a female character the only way to go for a mainstream game is to make her lesbian or bi. Watching a female character being plowed by all kinds of male NPC is the equivalent of NTR to many male players, and that would not end well.

Still think Witcher 4 would be a much more interesting game with a character creator and romance options like Cyberpunk.
