Good, I wasn't a fan of the remaster, too gaudy in the colour saturation.

Never been much of a Halo fan, but this would make me play through it, for definite. If it’s as good as the Half Life 2 mod, it’ll be great.

CE is still the best Halo game - It simply has that timeless quality about it.
Incredibly replayable game and it will always have a special place in my black little heart.

PS : Man, when that theme kicks in at 20:40 in OP's video...fuck, one of the best pieces ever written for a video game, based O'Donnell i salute you.

On the github they're saying you need to track down a disc version, that's when I gave up.

It's abandonware at this point. It's "archived" on the internet *wink* so it shouldn't be hard to find.

I didn't see this topic so I thought nobody did it, LOL.
Runs great but I have this weird issue where the whole view "warps" in a strange way when I look around, it's especially noticeable when tilting my head to the side. It's pretty distracting so hopefully it can be fixed.

Yeah it seemed like they were saying it needed a valid key which a cracked version would not have, but they also referenced a "friend" having an "archived" version so I guess that might be the workaround being described in coded language.

Still too much trouble for me, I usually spend longer trying to get things to boot and troubleshooting issues than actually playing them and I'm tired of the struggle.

What kind of attitude is that? The struggle is the best part. Once you get everything set up, that's when you power down the machine and forget you ever took the time to get it all working.
