Crimson Desert Gameplay Demo 2 HOURS (2025) 4K

TintoConCasera

I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife
Someone let me know if there are any dungeons on the video please, I'd like to check those out because everything else looks already good enough to me.

Wondering what hardware this is running on. Either way, this looks like pre downgraded Witcher 3 with a possibly better combat system, looking forward to trying it

But it was never an MMO
You're thinking of this game:

capsule_467x181.jpg

It is still available to play if you're interested.

I disagree. Must have been a snooze fest from the beginning as you seem to have slept through the announcement

I'm not thinking of BDO. The game was originally revealed as an MMO. This was taken from a developer interview in 2021, 1-2 years after it was revealed.

Q: With the change from a traditional MMORPG, does that mean that Crimson Desert is no longer considered a massive multiplayer online (MMO) title in terms of genre?

A:
It is not a traditional MMORPG, but rather an open world action-adventure game based on a narrative-focused single player campaign. There is also a multiplayer mode, and player’s will find that the single player and multiplayer experiences are both connected. Crimson Desert was previously introduced as an MMORPG, but the genre has changed in order to better express the narrative, story, and action we are striving for.

This is the next part:

Q: It was mentioned that it is optional to engage in the multiplayer mode. Does that mean that there is no multiplayer-exclusive content in Crimson Desert?

A:
There won’t be exclusively multiplayer content. Gameplay will be based on single player play that is organically linked to the game’s multiplayer mode. This makes it possible for players to play the game in a style of their choosing.

It seems you might have fallen for either deceptive wording or a mistranslation to the above question. As far as I've known this game to exist, it was always a non-MMO experience. Now we can debate on whether or not it was supposed to have co-op multiplayer, but that doesn't qualify under "MMO".

Oh. But I just apologized! I don’t know how to feel anymore.

That interview occurred after the focus had been changed, which is probably why he said it had previously been introduced as an MMO.

It's not that serious lol.

Looks pretty damn cool. I really need some decent fantasy RPG without isometric or first person stuff, PLEASE. I'm willing to overlook a lot.
I hope we'll be able to run around randomly doing something worthwhile of our choosing.

This is impressive, but you know what we still don't have? I remember being naive and innocent. I was REALLY optimistic about the PS3. When the first Resident Evil 5 gameplay vids, I was very disappointed that the zombies did not have realistic bullet damage when shot. Tattering the shirt in the exact location, body damage etc. Here we are 20 years later, and I don't think there's a game doing what I imagined RE5 should do then. Some come close, but man I thought we'd be a lot further ahead by now with real time deformation and physics effects. It's just particles and god rays still but turned up to 11.

Not gonna spoil myself, but if GAF impressions of this game are good, I'll be picking it up around launch. Everything I've seen up to this point looks really great.

The tiger knee into a kick move is sweet. I love how many enemies he was fighting at once in the first goblin fight. Kicking enemies while they are down looks fun.

For real. Soldier of Fortune and Red Faction made me think that by today, games would be insanely realistic by now when it came to realistic damage from bullets or swords.

well this is impressive, GTA6 cooked even before launch.

rockstar better get off their high horses and release more info, crimson dessert may over shadow you in the open world game play loop
This game game looks really good, but GTA VI is going to mop the floor with literally any other title releasing. They could charge $100 and still make back the cost of the game in one day.

Looks interesting. Like all these Korean games, it is a copy of the mechanics of all the current successful games, with a great artistic section, but also hyperbolic and chaotic. It is curious but in their way of creating products, they seem more Chinese than Japanese.

Yea, it looks like it's basically a mix of BOTW (on steroids) and Dragons Dogma.

Either way it looks 10x more impressive than most of the crap the Western gaming devs are putting out (excluding devs like WarHorse And Larian Studios in Europe)

Seriously, at this point, will someone miss out if they stop buying western action games/RPGs anymore? The only thing that the west still have going for themselves are First Person Shooters and Real-Time Strategy games.

Plenty of good to great RPGs, or action RPGs from western developers these past few years:

Baldurs Gate 3
Rogue Trader
Wrath of the Righteous
God of War: Ragnarok
Solasta
Path of Exile 2
Phantom Liberty
Forbidden West
Hogwarts Legacy
Remnant 2
Diablo 4
Lords of the Fallen

Looks good but there is a plethora of action RPGs from that region.

How long is the main campaign?

edit: Seems like it will take 50-80 hours to complete.

Pass for me if that is true.
