There can be no complaints, they really botched the launch of the game and even if you disregard the server issues, it's clearly not ready.

Maybe it will be what they said it would be at some point next year.

Why is Flight Simulator 2024 so low?

It's pretty much in a genre of it's own so it sets the standard what are they complaining it to to give it a 4?

Some people really have a hate boner for it. Don't know if it's because of Xbox or what? I bought it and am liking it so far. I am switching between it, silent hill 2re, and stalker 2, with stalker getting the most of my time. 3 back to back amazing games. stalker 2 is another level of awesomeness, it's my style of game, and a style that isn't really made anymore.

Indiana Jones looks and plays great. Anyone expecting uncharted though is not going to get that. Thing is that shouldn't of been expected.

True, and the game is already leagues better now, but I guess at the time Edge were reviewing it, it was still in the first couple of weeks where the servers shat the bed.

I decided to hold off on Stalker 2 even though I was excited for it because it seems like they have big plans for the patches and updates. Figure I can knock a couple games off the backlog and it will be better for the wait.

On XSX I'd give Indy a 6/10 and STALKER a 5/10 for its state on release. With the caveat that Stalker may get to an 8 once everything has been fixed. State of gaming media review publications is fucked these days.

Nikki and Rivals got rolled though.

I watched a bit of Rivals and it's a lot worse than I expected it to be. Looks like a low end version of Overwatch instead of the high end version I was expecting.

That said, it does actually look a bit fun if you like that kind of game. The shark special looks like real fun, lol. I do wonder why they didn't dump even more production value on this though.

I get anxious to play a new game but its not like I can't wait. I like to see how a game is running before I plunge in.

They say that, but nobody seriously thinks that means a 6 is a good rating. Like any magazine, the scores are plucked from the arses of the reviewer, and often reflect some personal agenda.

4 for FS 2024 though - that is completely ridiculous. I'd be (mildly) interested to know how they justified that in the text.
