You really can’t see this game lasting more than a month? I think most people will play this single player anyways.
I prefer to go spoiler-free when it comes to FROM games. As such, it is entirely possible I am out of date and misunderstanding things.
My understanding, however, is that this is sort of like the Chalice Dungeons expanded, in that it's a rogue-like/boss-rush type of game, featuring randomized-ish levels with randomized-ish bosses; plus the occasional PUBG-circle. It apparently supports 1 player or 3 players, but not 2.
To me, that seems like a bad decision, so I hope I am mistaken.
If my understanding is correct, I don't see it having much longevity unless the randomization is Diablo 2-levels of intricate. I don't see that happening.
I'm hoping that, at the very least, a friend and I can team up and then invite a random person to join us. I still don't really like the idea, but at least it's better than playing by myself or having to get two friends to play with me at the same time.
If I'm not able to just play with one friend at a time, I do not see this game lasting for long.
