Game of the show for you?

Good presentation, a bit too many indies but there were some great reveals there as well. Here are my personal top 5 favorites from least anticipated to most anticipated - this is based of my personal taste in games/preferences.

  • 5 - Demon's Souls
  • 4 - Project Athia
  • 3 - Ratchet and Clank
  • 2 - Kena: Bridge of Souls
  • 1 - Resident Evil: VILLAGE

Definitely Horizon 2. Haven’t finished the first one, but it was an impressive showing.
New Spider-Man
Demon’s Souls Remake

Horizon, GT7 and Ratchet and Clank, and I also like the look of the little devil inside seems interesting

yeah H looked next gen from a detailed visual standpoint.

A GT game? It’s been 8 years! Finally.

I am assuming this rift concept is just showing off the power of the I/O tech but will be more excited when developer interviews discuss it.

I hope the transitions and mega-sploshions are toned down in the real game.

Yeah, I mean GT7 alone made the event all worthwhile for me. Imagine being launch or launch window game, that will sell boat load. Perfect game too in terms of showing off to wow with PS5 graphics

Either Ratchet or Returnal which both look sublime. I think the stream quality really did damage to how good GT 7 looks, but it is what it is - it certainly looks great in 4K. Kena looks superb also.

Ratchet & Clank stood out to me, looked smooth with a good deal of stuff happening in the immediate vicinity. Those transitions from world to world were a good way to show off the new hardware.

I'm much more interested in other games, but not enough (or any) gameplay footage.

you know what? I’m actually with you for the most part. It’s a really cool effect that they didn’t show loading and stuff just happened but it might be overwhelming / frantic.

if it plays like some of the old R&C games I think it’ll be fine. In those games if you don’t move forward or jump to the next place the world mostly just stays static or loops animations.
