Now that we know how extremly weak the hardware is(mario kart footage looked visibly worse from gt7 on base ps4, 12yo console) i think ninny wont charge more than 400usd for it.

$500 in this economy. Sony was raising the price of their console years later, and sold the PS5 Poo for $700. Anyone saying $400 is sniffing hopium IMO.

The current dinosaur Oled Switch is $399. No way the new one will cost the same even with an LCD, especially since Nvidia is involved.

$450 with nothing sounds right. $500 with a game.

Right, so if I'm comparing it to a PS5 (regular) or Series X -- which admittedly are a few years old -- my vote says $350. I think they undercut the other "competitors"

That said, I'm probably wrong, and a moron.

We had PS5 @399, this shit should be $250 max
But you can play PS5 games on any shitty PC from Wal-Mart, and most of them you can play on your old PS4, and also they have no good exclusives anymore. You can only play new Nintendo games legally and fairly on Switch 2, and Nintendo games are also way better and more frequent than Playstation first party games. Also Nintendo games aren't woke. Also Nintendo still supports AA gaming.

Am I wrong?

I mean, I bought a Pro day 1, but I'm also not living in a fantasy world. Arkham Knight, Uncharted 4, and GoW ragnarok were all on PS4 and looked amazing. If Switch brings that level of graphics or even beyond that, what beyond that is the point honestly? Diminishing returns hit this industry hard in 2015. That's the high water mark. If you look closely you can see where it started to recede. Now we play VR games with roloblox graphics and talk about how cool our new 2000 dollar 5090 is going to be because of the AI nodes while we game on our 750 dollar non-portable consoles and play games like Diablo 4 with a pro patch that look like they could have released on the PS3. We have lost what is important in gaming.

Wow..this wall of text

Dude, looking at the tech inside both..Switch shouldn't be a dime above $250

Period

I think it's very likely to be £400. That being said, I'm not sure I'd want to pay more than £300 for it since the hardware is quite limited. Time will tell though.

If they show an amazing looking 3D Mario or Zelda game though then I'll probably just jump in day one at £400.
