Welp, was totally wrong about the DGS sales, but I guess that's still good for what's pretty much a spin-off with all new characters.

Honestly it isn't that impressive for YW. It will have legs but there are like half million copies on retail channel right?

DGS is a GS game, for sure, but it also has a completely new cast. It's effectively a spinoff they wanna turn into its own series.

What were the numbers for the Edgeworth games again?

Not really. Relative to the rest of the dying market, I suppose it could be seen as "mediocre but not a disaster" but in the context of consoles sales in general it's a catastrophe.

Phoenix Wright opened the same as the Miles Edgeworth 2 game, not that great :/

Very good opening for YW considering it's a spin-off.

It did quite well, in my opinion. GS is quite focused on character development - and fans buy games because of characters. This game has a completely new cast - it is basically a spin-off but more of a pseudo-new IP. If the game is good, it will have legs.

Yeah, there's the Yo-kai Sangokushi game coming later this year, also for 3DS. It's a crossover between Yo-kai Watch and Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

There's also Yo-kai Watch 3 next year and three game apps coming this year
Yo-kai Daijiten
Yo-kai Watch: Gerapo Rhythm
Yo-kai Watch: Punipuni

Yo-kai Watch 3 was pegged for December this year too, but it seems to now be 2016 which does give some breathing room.

PS4 around 15K in such a wasteland summer is way better than I expected and better than last year. I wonder if it can stay above the 10k until MGSV, because the following weeks are AWFUL for japanese gamers.
