Death Stranding is owned by Kojima Studios. The first game was released on all major consoles, including Xbox. Kojima Studio is not a part of Playstation. They just have a time exclusivity partnership like with some Final Fantasy games.

I really love Kojima's work, but I really feel he needs to ground DS2 to reality, the first one was just too fantastic to make sense and so nothing hold much weight as compared to metal gear when things are more realistic but with a touch of fantasy

Are they? Seems like they have improved with reduced shader stutter and increasing implementation of upscalers and framegen.
