Thought this was a stupid hoax but yes its real. It was apparently a true successor to the original 1991 Duke Nukum (not a typo, that was his original name) that brought back the villain from that one and made as an side project by 3D Realms mostly for fun. The game was cancelled though as the team was made to focus (nor not, as we all know) on the actual DNF. With the prototype instead being sold to a different company who turned it into Alien Rampage.

Everytime there's an update for that "restore project" it looks shittier and shittier. Someone should tell them that "restoring" a game doesn't involve arbitrarily changing massive areas while barely touching the scripting or anything else. The only good thing I can say is the new Vegas map looks better.
