Most people want to play Ragnarok on PS5 rather than the inferior PS4 version.

Call of Duty doesn't matter as much.

The official best-selling game of November was PlayStation's God of War Ragnarok. It was a huge launch for the PS5 and PS4 title. For its first three weeks on sale, the game has sold 62% more units than its predecessor (2018's God of War) managed.


69% of Ragnarok's sales were of the PS5 version, with the remainder on PS4.

There's a big percentage of sports games players who are completely detached from the rest of gaming.

I know a lot of people who pretty much exclusively play FIFA (and maybe COD every other year) and they are completely happy with it. They also don't mind microtransacactions, $60 + another $60 in microtransactions for something they'll play almost daily for at least a year is cheap as far as hobbies go.
