Weird mix of titles. It would certainly make more sense if this focused on games with couch co-op given the ‘holidays’ and ‘family gathering’ theme of the article.
Stuff Iike Fortnite and Helldivers 2 shouldn’t really be there.

What a weird, utterly pointless article.

I actually do care about games that remind me of the holidays, and they can be reflective of points in my life.

#1. Diddy Kong Racing: Wonderful winter //holiday race stages. Every year I think about this game and how it reminds me of the holidays.

#2. Return to Castle Wolfenstein: This is a weird one - but I can smell the box it came in. I remember having candles lit on my computer desk and killing skeletons and nazis in their snow-covered stages.

I bought a fun little ski game to screw around with with my brother this Christmas.

I have games that I like to play pre-winter: Skyrim in particular, and SSX or Steep just to tease me for the ski season.

Yes. That's you, and the games that remind you - personally - of Christmasses you have enjoyed.

Which is not what this article is about.

Ultimate Chicken Horse is fucking hilarious to play in a group, my family have played it plenty. Roped some friends in too occasionally. Great game for couch or online.

Edit: CTR Kart racing needs to be there. Top shelf.

Should be

Postal 2
Hatred
Mad World
Super Mario Party
Manhunt 1 & 2

Especially if you have kids, but them these Christmassy titles and thank me later ☺️

P.S. Don’t forget questionable mixed bags of a publication like Rolling Stone with their amazing taste on display here are the ones determining who’s winning Geoff Keighley’s TGAs.
