I can see where this thread is going to go, but on a more serious note I think simply being able to smell hints of pine in RDR2 or gunpowder in Assassin's Creed could go a long way to enhance immersion. It doesn't require wunderbaum levels of aroma, but rather quite simple notes that helps the brain take what the eyes sees and connect it to something in your room. There were many times when I wished I could smell the campfires in Red Dead.
