They were shadowbanning players on MW3 to force them over to BO6. I doubt they care about a 3 year old game.

I think a lot of COD is heavily coded to the point they have to repackage the game again sometimes.

I remember during Halo 5, many people complained about the grenade hitmarkers, but 343i came out and said that it was too heavily coded into the game and couldn't patch it out.

Consoles have terabytes, 100gig updates is this by design? It’s space taken away from you so little Johnny can use his parents card to buy snoop dogg cosmetics. I’m trying to figure out what’s the update about, cod basically doesn’t require much, it’s feature by and large are essentially the same over the last 20 years, COD4 had effort, and was implemented on one of these:

no, it was 89GB for me too, but as I mentioned in the OT, it's probably because I didn't have enough free space after installing avowed, having it delete files to make room for patch allocation, normally the updates are much smaller for me as well.

I can see a larger download if someone missed the last one or two content updates, but if some people are getting a 35 GB download and some are getting an 80 gb download, that's just bizarre.

On XSX, at least, Call of Duty is just one app that includes BO6, MWII, MWIII and Warzone. You can select what gets updated from all of those games, and I suspect some people have more than just BO6 selected...
