Confirmed Games:

  • Assassin’s Creed Origins is two years in the making, set in Egypt as a prequel with new mechanics to the AC series. FY2018 (XB1, PC, PS4)
  • Far Cry 5 is an open world first-person shooter action-adventure set in a US state where cultists have taken over. 2017 (XB1, PC, PS4)
  • South Park: The Fractured But Whole is being developed by Ubisoft San Francisco following New Kid and the gang playing as superheroes, TBA (XB1, PC, PS4)
  • The Crew 2 TBA (XB1, PC, PS4)
  • New IP is confirmed from the Ubisoft E3 2017 teaser video

Leaked:

  • Mario x Rabbids: Kingdom Battle: This may appear at Nintendo’s, Ubisoft’s or both press conferences. 2017 (NS)
  • The Division: Ubisoft has been saying they plan to unveil The Division's Year 2 content soon (XB1, PC, PS4)

Also Expect:
  • A new online focused pirate game.
  • Some kind of sci-fi game. Maybe that one from Watch Dogs.

Don’t Expect:

  • Ubisoft's online centric Avatar game (by The Division people) will not be at E3 as it is not releasing until at least 2020.
  • Watch Dogs 3
  • The Division 2
  • Rainbow Six Siege is not planned to get a sequel until well after Ghost Recon Wildlands gets a sequel, according to their last fiscal call.
  • Ubisoft has been rumoured to be working on a new Splinter Cell, though it's not entirely clear how development on that is going, as we haven't heard anything in a year or so.
  • Ubisoft has said Beyond Good & Evil 2 will not be at E3.

Wonder if Mario/Rabbids game will be shown here. I have AC in mind, but don't think I am going to be particularly interested with anything else.

Edit: Unless Prince of Persia finally comes around again, through I am not getting my hopes up.

I can't wait for all the Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle stuff to actually be fake. It was all 3D printed.

The standard for fake leaks is raised so high that we aren't even sure E3 just happened. We look at the calendar and it says March.

I'm strangely optimistic about this show. I think their current line-up is legit great with South Park and the most interesting looking Assassin's Creed and Far Cry installments in a long time. Also a guaranteed new IP and always the potential for me. I think it could be great!

Curious to see how they handle Far Cry 5. I loved 4, but I won't pretend it wasn't exactly the same as 3.

I'd assume towers are either gone or massively reworked. I'd like to see some updates to stealth as well.

Give me a new Splinter Cell in the vein of Chaos Theory or with Hitman/Ground Zeroes style sandbox maps.

Just no open world, please.

Other than AC: Origins, I'm not sure what else to expect (or look forward to maybe is the right word) from Ubisoft. Hoping to see some more VR stuff from them I guess.

Anyway, good luck on stage Crossing Eden, shit, I mean Yves.

Somehow after the great Microsoft conference yesterday and the upcoming Sony conference I expect absolutely nothing from Ubisoft. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

We will see, surprise me Ubisoft.
Please keep the Rabbids stuff as short as possible...
