Controller it's going work even for normal controllers? I mean I remember when I picked up kinect for fun, that that shit actually made the LED more dim, however it seems to me that it's Elite controllers only...

I am in Skip-Ahead and it does work even with normal controller, however the range isn't all that great, better than nothing I guess...

Nice feature. I don't think I'll ever use it, but I can definitely see the benefit. I've been using my PC with Night light on all day long for many years now.

It's not limited to Elite. That's just the example used.

most modern TVs have build in blue-light reduction modes... so pretty useless IMO
and dark mode is in the OS for years already

but that controller dimming for normal controllers is nice. at the moment you can only do that with the Elite

It disables HDR, so no bueno. Also all the colours will be borked with a blue light filter so again, no thanks.

I guess the controller and power button dimming might be useful for some people, but you don't look at the controller button when playing so it makes no difference.

before it only worked with the Elite controllers. so it's nice to see that they add it to normal ones as well
