Will wait for Switch 2 for this and Metroid Prime
Not sure about that, but they added the option to turn off the vocal for the flight themeCan we get a new optional city theme aswell? Pretty please!?
Well, Sawano also made music for Gundam UnicornThe music is very Mecha anime music and Takahashi likes his Mecha anime.
yeah I already preordered.... no collectors editionEven if that was case I'm still going to buy Xenoblade X DE day one then play it on Switch 2, because I fear I might not able to find physical copy if I wait until Switch 2 arrives.
I remember in XCDE you could access to future connect at the menu. Please let the bonus story content be playable from the start.
If it is, I'll buy the game to play it, but I ain't playing through the whole 100 hours again just for the extra stuff.
I saw this yesterday and it's confirmed that you can only access the new story after finishing the gameI remember in XCDE you could access to future connect at the menu.

I'm sure you can do same with XCXDE.
You forgot to post the other oneWaifublade strikes again hehe

I didn't watch this video yet but I'm guessing its because you are accessing extra story within the game itself instead of separate menu?I saw this yesterday and it's confirmed that you can only access the new story after finishing the game

The true final boss will be Tatsu. And he will finally be food. Tater Tatsu. You get the true ending if Lin deals the final blow. Doing this also gets you the Ultimate Weapon "Tatsu's Lunchbox".Wonder if the new content is just 2.5 hours of Tatsu telling "Tatsu not food!" jokes.
I really am hyped for this, but part of me wishes they'd have waited until Switch 2 was out and made it for that system instead. The new models look great, the visual upgrades are noticeable, but it could have been better. Maybe they'll do a patch or something.
Probably. I think this new content will happen directly after the main story. All the other games have a new story set quite far after/before the main story.I didn't watch this video yet but I'm guessing its because you are accessing extra story within the game itself instead of separate menu?

Linly....
Was Tatsu... extra... delicious, after all... ?

I was so relieved that “more cutscenes about Lin wanting to eat Tatsu because he resembles a potato” was not listed as one of this game’s enhancements.
It's going to pick up right after the original XCX's ending. With the seeming inclusion of new playable characters I think the new stuff will be quite expansive. Makes me wonder if they added tons of new quests to all the other zones in the game too.Probably. I think this new content will happen directly after the main story. Well ponder this...if the Switch is getting XCX Definitive Edition...what does that leave for the Switch 2?
Yeah that new area looks awesome and there’s a lot of potential to expand on the story. It's going to pick up right after the original XCX's ending. I hope they added a couple new classes.

I used two Skells. Medium Type for exploration and traversal and the Heavies for Combat. Might try a Light Type since they are made of glass but have high evasion. My one wish is that they make some changes to the skell balancing. IIRC there was really no reason to use anything but the most expensive heavy skell for everyone if you could afford it. Bummer because they all look so cool.
Personally, I want Disaster: Day of Crisis 2Fingers crossed for a XB2 definitive in a few years.

I think Switch 2 patch would be more than enough instead just re-releasing it.Fingers crossed for a XB2 definitive in a few years.
That's on Bamco's hands....I want....

The popularity of Xenoblade games grown pretty damn well even tho they are very different than Xenosaga it still shows people want more Xeno games.I hope Bamco make another market research for it....
Well, Xenoblade 3 DLC have Xenosaga stuff in it. Hopefully there's something there. The popularity of Xenoblade games grown pretty damn well even tho they are very different than Xenosaga it still shows people want more Xeno games.

XB2 needs some heavy reworking on the UI, the amount of menu-ing you have to do can get kind of tiring. They really need to go back to the drawing board to make things snappier and easier to use.I think Switch 2 patch would be more than enough instead just re-releasing it.
They also need to fix the field skill system. It's a pain to access the party menu every time there's a field skill. They also need to add party preset. The running speed in combat is tied to battle system IIRC.XB2 needs some heavy reworking on the UI, the amount of menu-ing you have to do can get kind of tiring. I would also add some other minor fixes like slightly increased running speed in combat (to make positional arts more useful), better rates for dropping unique blades, improved lip sync for the English dub, and other small stuff.
Everything else is perfect, the game scales well to high resolutions. Add some QoL here and there and better tutorials, and it would be golden.
If XB2DE ever comes out, just put it directly in my veins.![]()
field skills are gone, they announce that like a week or two ago. Sounds like nearly everything you’re running into in the game can be accessed right away. There might be some hidden behind special quests, but there’s no more biological field skill level four for example… This was all in the media preview videos last week. They also need to fix the field skill system.
