Hes very good, one of best players in our Juvenil A. But im not that sad he left because we already have young gk for the future in ter Stegen.

Then to think we were only in the market for a goalie because all our reserves/youngster goalies managed to get injured. I think we have like three fully usefull goalies in the reserves/first youth team at the moment

Hope he develops well, would be nice to have our backup for Cillessen already.

The ECHO understands his four-and-a-half year spell with the Anfield club came to an end on Wednesday.

Reds Academy doctor Andy Massey has taken on the additional duties on a temporary basis. The reasons for Dr Iqbal's exit are unclear.

Melwood-based Dr Iqbal was responsible for the medical treatment of all players. He would put prospective new signings through their medicals and sit on the bench on matchdays.

Basically he has a fair point (although I still don't think he should be allowed to play football). Because of the lynch mobb mentality against Chad and because he's famous, he can't get a job anywhere. Regardless of actions, once time served everyone deserves a second chance.

While I was really shocked at Oldham offering him a contract initially I was even more shocked at the reactions and ironic threats made. Like they're really no better off imo.

While I was really shocked at Oldham offering him a contract initially I was even more shocked at the reactions and ironic threats made. Like they're really no better off imo.

1. Threats of rape < actual rape.

2. Part of the reason he's reviled isn't just that he's just been adjudged to have raped someone, he refuses to admit it or say sorry for it, and worse still runs a website displaying potentially illegal falsehoods about the case to make himself look innocent and to make the victim look like she's lying (the attorney general is currently investigating this website).

3. Moreover, due to his website he now has supporters who have gone out of their way to reveal the victim's identity and hounded out of her home 5 times since 2012. She was not able to spend Christmas with her family this year due to threats. It has taken him until 2015 to say they should perhaps stop.

4. He's served half his time and he's currently appealing to the Criminal Cases Review Commission, and he has shown little to no genuine remorse for things he has done.

In conclusion I have about as much sympathy for him as he seemingly has for his victim.

I MIGHT have sympathy if he came out, said he was sorry, beg forgiveness, admit he was wrong, volunteer for a charity or something yadayda. But he didn't. He just came out and said well she was drunk so ya know not rape. He deserves all he gets.
