If I buy that automatic rifle that shoots 2 bullets at vault 81, can I make it non automatic without losing the bonus?
Yup, that perk is always going to be set.
That gun is also absolutely insane.

Just because shes your companion doesnt mean you have to use her
shotgun ammo. why is it so hard to find?
any tips?
Um wouldn't the point of her being my companion mean her following me around?
Is that the way im supposed to progress that quest? Just seems like odd because one second im in her office and everything is red if you go to steal it, I come back and now I can take everything and all my guy says is lets go!
Yepppp that upgrade changes a lot of things.LMAO. And than that happned:
I have now 250/265 Defense without Power Armor. WTF?! How can they hide such an essential upgrade function behind some repeatable quest?!
How to unlock:
You need to join the Railroad and do two of the DIA missions from PAM. Then you unlock the function to upgrade it, after you speak with Tom.

What dumb "genius" designer decided to make a settlement with a radioactive pond right at its center. What a shitty thing to do to an interesting space![]()

Thank youYeah, it's a bug with companions. Just let her be your companion, then talk to her and the quest dialogue will activate.
Delete the barrels and cars in it.What dumb "genius" designer decided to make a settlement with a radioactive pond right at its center. What a shitty thing to do to an interesting space![]()
It's "deal double damage" in anything but its name. That modifier doesn't consume more ammo or actually shoots / hits twice.

I went in in as a brotherhoood member and shot everyone in there. But it's all good since I'm in my power armor 24/7
Fallout 4 |OT2| Uranium Fever
Put it under future suggestions if the thread ever gets that far.
Delete the barrels and cars in it.![]()
If you're talking about the Drive-In, you can wade in and delete the barrels to get rid of the radioactivity
Ah, thanks.I've been placing the things for Tom thinking that would progress but nothing has been happening, I'll do the PAM stuff instead.
I can finally get out of this damn vault suit.
You can scrap the barrels. I think one of the cars emits it as well.
Yep, cores are so easy to find.I have 90 so far and still have half the map to look at.
Yup, i'm wasting my cores now because im approaching nearly 150 of them. Im getting too many.
I got all this shit using fusion cores:
power armor
jet pack
gatling gun
fusion core grenades
companion gatling gun
and Im STILL getting more cores than I can use. at this point I may just stop picking them up. I already stopped buying them. You know what, ima just sell them shits, yea, thats what ima do. Just thought about it.
Fighting mirelurks as a melee character is awful.

still no word from Bethesda on a timeframe for a patch?
Once I've constructed an industrial water pump, how can I collect the excess water for myself to sell?
Well I feel stupid for building a fence around it. >_>
Wow, that weave is insane. My vault suit + all the armor on top isn't even as good as the underarmor alone now, and you can still put the pieces over it.
nah man it's totally sick
Weave?
Get the perk to use them as nuke grenades
If you're stealth melee is pretty OP.
I can 1-shot sentries, assaultrons, deathclaws, etc.
Yeah me too. I didn't even get much damage before, but now it's laughable. A stimpack can counterheal anything but explosions. Will put that on my chest armor now, since I have enough energy defense. There got the upgraded outfits. I had armorer rank 4.
Went from 100-ish defense to 200+ in both regular and energy.
I'm a stealthy ass tank motherfucker.
CHOO CHOO
Posted above. You get it pretty nonchalantly, but it allows you to modify normal stuff like Army Fatigues that don't normally show up at all. AND you can put the additional pieces of armor on top...I went from 81 resistance for most of the game to 191.
literally minutes after getting a set of X-01 power armor and going back to Sanctuary, right after I upgraded all the parts, Piper decides to leave it in the middle of my house and someone stole the fucking helmet!
fucking Jun Long had it. god, I hate the Longs.
