Shit is so sick and just as cool now as it was back then.

This right here. They could remake Ninja Scroll and unless they copied the fight one to one I doubt they could out do it. Jubei has to brutally murder Genma several times despite getting more and more fucked up each time. Great stuff. The face smashing head butts were great.

I'll raise everyone the fight between Spike and Mad Pierrot in Cowboy Bebop. Spike usually slaps the shit out of most everyone he comes across but Mad Pierrot was on a whole other level. That and he's a pretty sad character whose only defeated by taking advantage of one of the horrible memories from his broken mind of when he was being experimented on.

That final giffed sequence is one hell of a juggling air combo out of a fighting game.

Gundam fights are always better when there's no newtype hacks going on.

Well there are some great gundam fights even with newtype hax. The Amuro vs Char final fight in chars counter attack comes to mind. The best gundam fights always involve realistic physics of a lumbering hundred ton machine instead of having the robot move like a ballerina.

Season 1 is a lot lighter and slower, but yeah, there are big fights. Season 2 is where all the crazy nontraditional anime stuff is though.

Having just watched this recently I would agree. Fight was badass, as was Yusuke Vs. Yomi, Hiei Vs. Bui and mostly anything with Kurama.

I love the first part of Yusuke vs. Sensui, especially when Sensui claimed he could predict Yusuke's move because of his superior experience to which Yusuke launched an all out attack on him only to randomly jump in the water in a bid to prove his unpredictability..God I love Yusuke
