For how bad the roster and graphics are the gameplay has always looked to be top tier capcom.
Possibly, as it seems they may be employing some post-processing effects which could maybe be tweaked and toned down to reduce the ugly haze to make things pop more.
This has been known since that press event from a while back.
Perfectly timed push blocks can reflect back projectiles (but not beams)
Also gives a different looking "Advancing Guard!" notification on the side of the screen when the correctly timed push block is executed.
Umm what is this? Even the VA is noticably bad. Where is Bailey?

And now all of a sudden its STreet Fighter vs MK from 92 all over again with Marvel and DBZ, its like im back in highschool.
Did I say I love it btw, because I meant its fucking sad.
