I mean yeah? So does UMVC3 on PS4. Even UMVC3 on PS3 didn't have long load times in between stuff, was pretty snappy.

This probably looks lightning fast to you coming from SFV with those insane load times LOL!

Tekken and Injustass also have long loading times, it's not just SFV. :p

I don't think he liked working there. It was his dream, but I think Capcom USA didn't have as much of a say? Shame because he worked hard for us... And tried to be transparent for capcom.

And to answer Dahbomb's thing about social media, I think Capcom just doesn't want to spend the money anymore (or doesnt have it). To think Capcom was ahead in this area with Capcom Unity, etc, but slowly they have been cutting it out.. After DMC4:SE they released that Capcom Unity guy who did the DMC stuff (and then Kiets going silent)... And Combofiend before with USF4 patch released videos and was more communicative, and we had capcom pro talk which was fun. Now we got nothing :(. I miss Capcom pro talk...

At least, because of him, we got Arthur and other few characters in MVC3.

I don't really buy that Capcom would compress their characters using a .zip file on their disc. I also don't know how someone would have their hands on a disc atm. I don't buy that leak.

Having said that, Capcom has been known to do strange things in the past...

At same time, the list came out like 8 days ago and correctly mentioned few characters that were in story mode (Dragon Boss, Grandmaster Meios, etc) It's plausible that someone saw the trailer way early and decided to make a fake leak. We wouldn't know until we get more reveals in the future.

Maybe a lucky volunteer/E3 guy got a hold of the coding while setting up for the demos?

...I don't know how that works though...

Don't count on it. That would require a lot of skill and luck to transfer the code off a PS4 there. They'd either have to steal the system or basically be fired for tempering

I would think you wouldnt make a fake list and instead, get the credit of telling everyone what you saw... But I guess everyone doesnt think this way. Idk.. If any leak before had any merit, it would def be this one.

RIP Gregaman.

I still remember when he got hired to Capcom Japan to work on Mega Man Legends 3. He learned Japanese and everything. Then, they cancelled it and they had to give him some work with the community staff. I'm glad he got work after that, but it must have felt like shit to be that close to a dream project.

I didn't know about that DmC stuff. I hope he's doing alright out there.

Looks like the Rakuhouha from X4

Zero cancels out of his Sentsuizan into an ice technique of some sort

Looks like the F-Splasher (Hisuisho) from X5

His new lvl1 was definitely the Raijinshou from X7.

Yeaaaa boy he's looking good. He also got a slide apparently and I swear for a second it looked like he had the C-Sword from X5 as well, I think he did it partially off screen maybe grounded, but I swear I saw it

I think Zero still has his DP.

He has his lightning, so I assumed the DP was still there.

I think his MVC3 lvl3 is a lvl1 now. It didn't appear to be a lvl3 in the trailer.

So he has a new lvl1, Sougenmu returned, his MVC3 lvl3 is back (presumably as a lvl1), and now I'm wondering what his lvl3 is.

Might be Dark Hold from TVC or something else entirely.

They seem to be pushing story mode hard so I imagine they think that's the sole problem SFV had.
Considering how SFV's Cinematic Story Mode came and went you'd think they would notice by now that it isn't going to help Infinite. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if the story demo scares some people away. Sure, some folks will be satisfied with it but there will be plenty of people who rather spend they $60 elsewhere.

Great gifs Doctrine Dark.

Really loving Zero's new moves. He also has new normals now. I thought he was boring in Marvel 3 but now I can't wait to use him in Infinite

You guys sticking with the dual shock or using different pad or stick? Think I'm gonna stick with my fighting commander. Dpad feels better.

If anyone would possibly know...

Does Hiryu still have Ragnarok as his level 3?

I saw Kai use it, but it didn't hit. I also didn't see how many bars it used. It's in there though.

Also note for Zero; his air H (whatever button it is in MVCI) looks like its twice as big. It looks really cool in motion.

Quick impressions.

The gameplay in the Story demo was fun, but since it was limited and the story sequences looked so rough, I was fairly depressed at the end of last night's stream. Really wasn't feeling the game.

The 1v1 demo's visuals (at least on the E3 TV's) do look better. This is not the case for the character model/faces. They still look very rough outside of Cpt Marvel/Strider and a couple others who look good. The lighting and overall visuals appear to be more refined in the 1v1 build, especially seeing Thanos/Iron Man or shiny ass characters on that desert stage looked great. The hitsparks also look pretty awesome and different than marvel 3, some cool particles. The game itself, when finally playing against humans, is legit fun. The system allows for some crazy shit, and defense will be tough as you'll be getting opened up constantly via the tag system (take this as a compliment or otherwise). The game really shows it's scars after the match is over, or during cinematic supers when it dives into a close shot of a character model and face, and you're reminded how rough they look.

They're very lucky the game is fun as hell, at least this early on, because the artstyle and many other artistic choices are very questionable. This is almost a repeat situation of KOF14. Fun as hell gameplay, weak character models/lighting at release.

Do you know what Morrigan's new move is? Some kind of ground spike, I read.

Isn't that a new special? I've seen it before in X5 I believe.

Thanks for impressions. The tag system does look like it's going to allow for some really cool situations

and yeah like I said earlier.. any time there's a closeup in this game I cringe lol

Spencer's Armor Piercer and Bionic Lancer have like no meatiness or weight to them.

Like might as well just delete this character now if you can't copy/pasta properly. And I am not even a big Spencer fan.

When you got hit by Da Bionic Arm... even your fucking ancestors felt that.

it's funny how literally every aspect of bionic arm that made it appealing was stripped away when that move is probably the entire reason why he is in infinite to begin with

like its probably the most tonedeaf implementation of the move one could do

in most of the footage i've seen of it, it just keeps getting stopped by dinky looking fbs. there was a point where i swear i saw an ultron drone just kick spencer out of it, haha

Just makes me wonder how many people are even playing KOF14 right now.

Yah and i dont think it has invincibility anymore?

It still has invincibility but it's low amount. Or maybe it's just projectile invulnerability, it's almost impossible to test it against those jobber bots.

I wanted to get your impressions on how Dante feels to play. He seemed very clunky from the videos and not smooth like his MvC3 version.

It's probably the biggest complaint they've gotten I bet. Hopefully that results in some significant upgrades in visuals and character faces.
Well that and the story mode being jank, but you'd have to assume Capcom/Disney execs are looking at IJ2, DBZ, and hell UMvC3 and asking why MvC:i looks awful compared to those.... Like is Capcom that tone deaf?

Pretty much a different character, but similar specials to UMVC3. However, they'll mostly different inputs now, and his combo structure is totally changed.

No this was definitely his regular air hard (I guess punch) attack. It's just an effect change that makes it look really big.

After a day of playing it at E3, I'm off the suicide train. I can't say I'm not somewhat disappointed (roster, some graphics), but it was still fun to play the more comfortable I was with changes. It also really does look better in motion. Having it right in front of me with the effects going off and characters flying everywhere, I wasn't thinking "damn Chun's face is fugly."

I'm now in the "what could have been" mindset, but still going to play it and have fun.

Damn, gonna have to relearn him then. Do you know if the Capcom guys have given any indication they know about the character leaks?

Bionic Arm being as good as MvC3 would be super annoying with the free flowing tag system. Can't imagine the amount of free mixups Bionic Arm + Tag would give per match.
