• PlayStation Network monthly active users: 103 million users
• PlayStation Plus subscribers: 38.8 million users

This year alone only the PS that was the barrier to lots of games supporting cross-play

The issue has been resolved, developers haven't implemented it yet.

That's quite different from still having the issue with a couple of exceptions.

I think it's pretty poor. I would have liked/expected to have seen an install base of ~10 million at this point. The most disappointing thing is that they never gave us PC support like they teased in this article back in 2016: https://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2016-03-29-sony-open-to-psvr-on-pc

For these reasons, I consider PSVR a failure, but I still have high hopes for the next iteration. I hope Sony stick with it.
