Matt specifically said he didn't know but if he had to guess, he'd give it to XSX. What he has been consistent on is that the Github leaks did not line up with what he knew, and that both consoles are very close.

Klee has been quite clear that PS5 has their edge with no room for uncertainty.

These two bits of information are not mutually exclusive. They can both line up, but it appears that Matt either does not know the detailed specs (rather just the relative power) or there is some room for error when you look at the total package (e.g. Gpu, CPU, ssd combined).

I still feel Xbox will have more horsepower overall but Sony has a faster SSD and a better RT solution where Xbox will try to brute force everything.

I doubt it costs MS $30M, they moved to the Microsoft Theater in 2018, which btw, is a vastly larger and superior venue. Posh compared to the convention center and not as ungodly crowded as the MS booth always was. I literally couldn't breathe in the crowd the last time they exhibited there.

Matt and Klees information drops are not mutually exclusive. Matt can know the relative power of both consoles, without knowing exactly which one has their edge. Klee claims the PS5 has the edge.

Again. Matt may know (with confidence) that both consoles are around 12tf. He may not know which console will win out on total power. His guess could just as easily be based on target TFLOPS as it could be on the total package. He made a guess, and could be wrong. In Klees case, it's more black and white. Either PS5 has the power advantage or he's wrong.
