Terrible? Right.

So you want a high powered 8-10TF+ GPU and desktop class CPU in a box the size of the Xbox One X sitting under your telly? And such a box has to sufficiently cool such a high powered setup while remaining relatively quiet?

There is a reason for the Series X box design that MS went with for that console. You can't expect these companies to pull of a quiet console with the One X's dimensions with all these high powered components turned up to 11.

If Sony are going with traditional console design for the PS5 like they have for PS4 or PS4 Pro, you can bet your ass its going to be a thick and chunky PS5. This is the reason why i've not liked any of the PS5 concept designs so far because everyone just assumes this next gen setup will fit nicely into a tiny traditional box that fits neatly under the telly. None of these concepts actually take into account potentially how much heat these machines would likely generate based on rumored clock speeds and the specifications of the components within.

Shit looks type trash. That follow up leak Pic we got which made it look cheap and matte was not a good look. Hopefully the finish itself on the system isn't like tht, all dull and flat.

But we all have opinions.

For all the english speakers: I believe on the other site BG wrote a joke about a private event in Sony's Hall tomorrow, basically impliying that they (Sony) would be gifting anxiety medication. Medication it's spelled remedio in spanish, that's where the confusion could have come lol.

Who said I wanted it the size of the one X? Putting words in my mouth guy. All I said was the Bazooka design was too big. It should be slimmer, doesn't have to be one X slim.

Sony will go with whatever design brings them best possible thermal efficiency and reduced operational noise levels. The current PS4 is notorious for its loud fans and one of the major complaints from users.
Sony has also stated that they want a premium device with PS5 so if you're going to release a small console box that runs hot and is super loud, you're going against exactly that premium tag and would have ignored fan requests for better cooling and quieter operation in a console box.
Playstation user's will buy PS5 regardless of size. Original PS3 was monstrously huge but it still sold. Only thing keeping it back in its early days was the sky high price tag.

I'm a Sony fan through and through and have owned a few 360's too but i can give kudos where its due and the Series X does look like a well design and built console. Not sure what's so wrong with it design wise.

Series X is about twice the height and half as short (depth wise) as the One X. What exactly are you asking for if the Series X design is too bulky? There is not a whole lot in it if you compare the sizes of the two consoles.

I'm sure Sony will not waste ultra expensive HBM2 memories to run the system OS. We can expect for 8GB DDR3 for OS and SSD Cache (6/2). ans 16GB HBM2.

please, I'm not a fake insider, this is only a guess.

Japan is not even PS's main market anymore; that would the U.S. There's a reason they relocated the PS division's headquarters to California last year.

That said, I'm really liking some of these PS5 concept designs. Keep 'em comin'!

Yeah I would rather just have a slightly taller and maybe deeper PS4 Pro. I liked how wiiu used the space behind the console that usually goes to waste on a shelf.

Edit: hell now looking at my pro it could be twice as tall, a couple inches wider, and a couple inches deeper and it'd be fine. Would that give enough room for good cooling?

Honestly with this state right now, I feel like we ain't gonna get anything tomorrow, nor in February, because if something is going to be announced tomorrow then we'd certainly have guys like ZHuge, Jason Schreier or developers maybe strongly hinting at tomorrow being the day or February being the month that something big will take place.

I mean even Jason Schreier replied to someone some days ago on Twitter stating: 'I have no idea'.
