Get ready to be disappointedSo what's the general consensus? Are they going to tease something tomorrow or should I get ready to be disappointed?
Series X design is awesome. It's got premium written all over it and it looks so different to other console designs of the past. The tall, wide body looks to be excellent for venting hot air out the top.And looks better than Series X subwoofer design.
Put it sideways and stop complainingThat's a terrible design, that will not fit in most peoples current setups, too bulky.
I couldn't just slide out my PS4 and slide this in, I would need to adjust my stand and move shit around, what a pain in the ass.

Yea they mailed the design, I love it. Looks sleek and super premium.Series X design is awesome. It's got premium written all over it and it looks so different to other console designs of the past. The tall, wide body looks to be excellent for venting hot air out the top.
Terrible? Right. That's a terrible design, that will not fit in most peoples current setups, too bulky.

Ok but what about a special State of Play tomorrow?
How hard?We stand hard and ready... to be disapointed..
Put it sideways and stop complaining
Then your setup must very tight if you can't even fit it sideways.Still too fat, it's the height of like 3 PS4's
Also looks like a bazooka woofer

Gracias kind hermano.Bg!
For all the english speakers: I believe on the other site BG wrote a joke about a private event in Sony's Hall tomorrow, basically impliying that they (Sony) would be gifting anxiety medication. Medication it's spelled remedio in spanish, that's where the confusion could have come lol.
If you need help translating something I'm here!
Cheers!
Edit: this is the quote from the other site for those wondering;
It's 3X the power of PS4 Pro + SSD + Raytracing. Many millions would buy it.
Who said I wanted it the size of the one X? Putting words in my mouth guy. All I said was the Bazooka design was too big. It should be slimmer, doesn't have to be one X slim.Terrible? Right.
So you want a high powered 8-10TF+ GPU and desktop class CPU in a box the size of the Xbox One X sitting under your telly? And such a box has to sufficiently cool such a high powered setup while remaining relatively quiet?
There is a reason for the Series X box design that MS went with for that console. You can't expect these companies to pull of a quiet console with the One X's dimensions with all these high powered components turned up to 11.
Thick is expected, but not a fuckin giant tube lolIf Sony are going with traditional console design for the PS5 like they have for PS4 or PS4 Pro, you can bet your ass its going to be a thick and chunky PS5. This is the reason why i've not liked any of the PS5 concept designs so far because everyone just assumes this next gen setup will fit nicely into a tiny traditional box that fits neatly under the telly. None of these concepts actually take into account potentially how much heat these machines would likely generate based on rumored clock speeds and the specifications of the components within.
Sony will go with whatever design brings them best possible thermal efficiency and reduced operational noise levels. The current PS4 is notorious for its loud fans and one of the major complaints from users.Because of japan sony wont design a huge box like this . Sony still cares for japan .and in japan big consoke is a big no no imo
yup...like you loving Sony and hating everything Xbox. You are a very unhappy and angry poster when replying to anything that could be looked at as negative towards Sony. Its getting old.Shit looks type trash. That follow up leak Pic we got which made it look cheap and matte was not a good look. Hopefully the finish itself on the system isn't like tht, all dull and flat.
But we all have opinions.
I'm a Sony fan through and through and have owned a few 360's too but i can give kudos where its due and the Series X does look like a well design and built console. Not sure what's so wrong with it design wise.yup...like you loving Sony and hating everything Xbox. It is pathetic. It is something happening a lot not just in this thread... GAF overall are getting a lot of Neo users (some Neo Alt users) that become vocal near the imminent new start for their loved console.
You need to understand they have to hold these feeling for almost six years.
Don't take it to personal site.
Series X is about twice the height and half as short (depth wise) as the One X. What exactly are you asking for if the Series X design is too bulky? There is not a whole lot in it if you compare the sizes of the two consoles.Who said I wanted it the size of the one X? Putting words in my mouth guy. All I said was the Bazooka design was too big. Well you're going to have to accept thick or giant tubes in the next consoles.Thick is expected, but not a fuckin giant tube lol

Yeah on that we can agree LmfaoThick is fine

3 Kilos? It doesn't matter. Enough to be marketable. I don't want a 8TF PS5.How much raytracing are you getting with 8 TF?
Because of japan sony wont design a huge box like this . Sony still cares for japan .and in japan big consoke is a big no no imo
I've never believed this, not once lol. I don't think Sony would seriously not go with a design simply because they think Japan won't like it.
Are you sure about that?
From what I understand public shareholder has no vote over the board decisions.
And from what I read from their law Sony and the board can hide for determined time period the acquisition announce to public after the deal and sign contract.

Yeah I would rather just have a slightly taller and maybe deeper PS4 Pro. I liked how wiiu used the space behind the console that usually goes to waste on a shelf. Please Sony, don't get hints from any of those mockups here. And steer away from the tower designs.
Thanks

It is not Xbox or PS3 big but it is big.Series X is about twice the height and half as short (depth wise) as the One X. What exactly are you asking for if the Series X design is too bulky? There is not a whole lot in it if you compare the sizes of the two consoles.

Honestly with this state right now, I feel like we ain't gonna get anything tomorrow, nor in February, because if something is going to be announced tomorrow then we'd certainly have guys like ZHuge, Jason Schreier or developers maybe strongly hinting at tomorrow being the day or February being the month that something big will take place.Who else is feeling like me? Hoping we might get something tomorrow but trying to just push it to the back of my mind and not set myself up for disappointment.
