Some things You literally just cannot say without getting someone fired and fucking them and yourself over in the process. Another problem is without being direct things can be misinterpreted. It's not just frustrating for you all its frustrating for us too believe it or not. Constantly talking in circles and having people say the dumbest of things and even violate your personal space and attack you elsewhere and not just on gaming forums. It is tiring. I will definitely have information the cycle after this one and I also absolutely will not be sharing anything. Vetting is also difficult because the people passing this information could lose jobs or in some cases actually face legal actions. Then the small handful of people that actually do know something on this forum and probably other sites as well pass information between themselves that probably wont ever be shared. I have said it before some of the people with (actual information) have made this much more bearable for me and I thank them for it. Sony should be releasing everything that everyone wants to hear about and we can stop this circle jerk and you all can get to arguing over a number that will be inconsequential when it comes to differentiating the two consoles.

I'm sure it's frustrating man but I so much appreciate you being in here. To be honest there are a lot of deceptive people out here and Sony really is losing my respect with the handling of things. He even strongly hinted at Xbox Series X being revealed at VGAs before anyone knew.

I mean, even if he was wrong (which he wasn’t), why would he make stuff up? He has put his identity out there to us, he’s someone with many developer friends since the Dreamcast days, he used to work at Game Fan and EGM back in the day, so he is and he has proven that he is right.

Photoshop is an expensive piece of software, that is if you care about avoiding piracy (I think a dedicated gamer should).
I got a copy of Adobe CS to write a review for a computer magazine years ago and I'm glad it still works but when it stops, there are so many options nowadays, including online (in browser) solutions. For simple resizing and image manipulation, I use IrfanView, it's nice and free software for Windows. Unfortunately, I haven't found anything similar for OSX yet.

What would be really cool is the same geme on the same console rendering two multiplayer displays natively... not sure how with one hdmi mind you but would be pretty awesome.

All I can say is I apologise if nothing comes of it, and plans are changing literary on the day atm, and things are all over the place. If you think playstation fans are pissed off you should speak to some of the developers It’s not just you being kept in the dark on some things.

I thought it would be a news bump or something, kind of like what MS did for their initial round of spec info? But then when I saw the amd even was the same day, I became a little more confident it would be something that would clear up confusion more than anything. So no, I doubt very much you’re going to see a PS5 on display with a full spec reveal, I do think you will find out more about the next gen system(s), and that may be the start of the information flood gates, as it were.

Don’t confuse silence with fear. Sony are on one timescale; their own. And who is to say if they are behind or ahead with their own time scale?

Things are NOT going to plan for them, due to the virus. But everybody is in the same position with regard to that. But that doesn’t mean they don’t have a handle of things. It’s just a lot is changing, sometimes daily.

Just because they are quiet, it doesn’t mean they can’t come out and blow everybodies socks off. Only a fool would assume that.

What I was also wondering, and maybe you know the answer to this. Microsoft was way behind Sony in releasing proper devkits to developers, but they are way more quickly to claim 12TF of power for their system. While Sony had issues with sound/heating and was still tuning it. Do you have any idea why it might take Sony longer, even though they had a head start, to balance their system properly? Because since the console isn't where they want it to be, I wouldn't expect an event anyway, right?

Yet Microsoft is active and releases information little by little and building excitement and keeping things positive. One is participating in shows and events to hype the console and the other promised more events but are canceling participation left and right (this is not a COVID-19 thing. That happened before that).

Silence approach not even in this industry but entertainment in general is most likely something going wrong.
