Nah, Gears 6 won’t look anything like this, even on an off tv shot. You have to remember this is the biggest leap in power from one gen to the next we have ever seen. A capable artist with this power should be able to make utterly insane things.
In all honesty? Who knows other than Sony/MS. It’s clear that Sony spent a lot of time on a previous kit and then changed course a while back, but MS set out to release in this time frame and spec before they did. Why? Again, no idea.
There is a lot of truth on the heavy hitters Sony have this year and they don’t want them over shadowed, that’s true. But people know the PS5 is coming, they just want info. It won’t change their mind, they will likely buy those games and the hardware.

I absolutely agree, how come MS can release info online but not Sony? That’s a good question. And if it doesn’t make sense, your options are either A) Sony are utterly clueless and have no idea what they are doing or B)they know exactly what they are doing and this is the plan. it’s up to you which of those you pick, but I know what my money is on.The corona virus threw a spanner into the works, and a lot of things that should have been seen or shown have quite simply been delayed or cancelled. Nobody will ever put a vidya’ game above human life and safety.
Both companies are behind in this regard. But don’t think just because Ms jumped first that Sony should have done the same... to quote Gabe Newell “These things... take time”.

The thing about the mock up Xbox designs, is that “most of them” are done based on scaling the console with the controller as a sample size.
Yet “most of them” haven’t factored in the fact the new SX controller is a little smaller.
So most of these are a few cm off. And as I’m constantly told, a few cm does matter

I mean, on kids tables and shit that the younger gen have, its going to be fine. Though I can understand your concern if you only see it as a vertical unit, or if toivd got a small setup.

That is true but it is because that when those gamer (i suppose) "design" a console, they don't need to consider anything besides a good looking, but in reality, you can't just fit in the mother board with out a huge fan because that will cause heat problems, so gamers' design will never be like the seriex x or anything like that.

The job of an Insider is not to give information. It is true that there are several types of information:

- The one that comes to you indirectly.
If the information reaches me directly and I publish it, I am risking my position. That is why, for example, I did not come here to give information, I already made it clear in my first message. I am not paid to give information. And it is the information I can give at that time, neither more nor less. And I give it for courtesy, not for obligation. Who says "here," I say "anywhere."
Similarly, many Insiders have information that does not compromise them but does compromise their sources. And that must be respected.
I do not know everyone, nor their intentions, but I find it hard to believe that some risk their positions for some photos. I think something else must be behind that explains the situation. Likewise I have not been able to follow the case in real time and I don't know exactly what happened (if someone can summarize it to me) but I am sure it will be solved in the best way.
You should also understand that, although silence is frustrating and information is scarce, it is not as easy as not saying a name. If an information comes out, it ends up knowing where it came from.
I have signed confidentiality papers. And therefore, the confidants of Osiris (for example) also (surely).
With all this we go to mistakes. As I can't come here to say anything exact, I can't go wrong either. My only mistake would be to tell the exact truth. Some will interpret it well, and others will misinterpret it. I understand that those who misinterpret it will feel frustrated and deceived. But that's what there is. You can only give one guide. I cannot allow a story to appear on the Internet that says "I have said that ...". So I give you examples (or similes) for you to interpret.
If an Insider goes out to say exact things, it is because he can do it and because he is allowed to. If you ever see real publications ahead of time, I am sure they will not come from any Insider, unless you want to compromise someone.
The rest is called leaks, and they are anonymous. And the risk they have is that being anonymous can be true or false. And that's where the logic of each individual comes into play.
Logically many clauses are falling as information appears, and therefore, in those cases I can be a little more direct and affirm or deny things, since in that case I am not the origin of the information and I literally cover my back. The same must happen with other informants. And in other cases the information is denied by its own weight and logic and I only confirm the obvious (as has already happened). Similarly, what I can't say today, maybe tomorrow I can. But in any case, it will always be subject to your interpretation.

I know the following can’t happen – as Sony have long since abandoned plans of OtherOS features on their consoles, but what if they actually contemplated adding an OtherOS mode ? Restricted performance to 1.84TF for a subscription free OtherOS and a 9.2TF mode for £60 per year, and maybe a higher sub that enabled RT features too. Sony provides the free Windows 10 x64 license for OtherOS and allow users to install SteamOS instead if they want ontop of the OtherOS virtual machine.
I wonder how would such a bold move would test the limits of Microsoft’s mantra about allowing gamers to play their Xbox console games on a PC – as it would completely undermine Xbox exclusives and make the PS5 the defacto home PC for homework and one platform that could play all but Nintendo switch games. Any shenanigans to stop the games scaling across a 9.2TF PS5 by Microsoft would probably result in them being in trouble on anti-competition grounds for Windows, and if they just changed and released Windows 11 to cut Windows 10 gamers adrift, they would be damaging their entire business far more, wouldn’t they?
In theory the PS4 and PRO could have done something similar if it wasn’t for the multi-multi core netbook CPUs in those systems.

There can be many reasons why the performance is better, but that doesn't mean that the hypothetical TF advantage of the XSeX doesn't pay off when the consoles go on sale.

No he means that he is doubling-down on PS5 being a 12.4 TFs machine, and that it MIGHT go higher from 12.4 TFs to 13.2 TFs but won't go lower than 12.4 TFs, so WITHIN 1 TF of going from 12.4 TFs to 13.2 TF, the difference between those 2 numbers is WITHIN 1 TF.
So he confirms that PS5 is 12.4 TFs or maybe a bit higher.

Just have to wait for Sony now... I'm sticking with 9tfs, possibly under if they can't maintain the clocks
I do think Microsoft has the power trophy in the bag... Does it matter, well we will see how innovative the games are next generation... Yes I know Microsoft aren't planning on XSX exclusives for around 12 - 18 months, but maybe that's why the XSX is as powerful as it is.... By year 2 XSX will have come into its own, and then Sony will release a Pro is a possible scenario.
Anyway... standing by my 9tfs for PS5,
If I'm proven wrong... No worries I won't be running away, and I'll face the music.
