Oh fuck hope this shit is not true :

If the fan sucks cool air from the side and pushs the hot air our from the back of the console just like ps4 pro retail version, then dose it matter wether the fan is above the mother board or under?Of course you suck the cold air in, and push the hot air out. But its still... on the bottom? No? I'm not the best with this, so I'm just speaking my mind here.
no..the best scenario is 9.2tf PS5 ( lower is better), no RT, no RDNA 2 LOL
Yeah I hope these guys dont have girlfriends lmao jkFirst the jokes on my arms now the beard. I don't win with you guys
❤❤❤
The thing that gets me about that PS4 pro design is the fan... is on the bottom. So is that fan an intake, or an outtake fan? Because for heat, you want to get the hot air out as soon as possible while getting the cold air in. Basic engineering will tell you that once you remove the air from the board by pushing it out, cool outer air will fill its gap, and so you place the fan where the heat is expelled (because heat rises), i.e. on TOP.... Yet that fan is on the bottom...? Can somebody explain this one to me? You don't set up a single fan to bring cold air in, because that won't remove the hot air correctly...? Am I being thick here? If so, somebody explain please!
Do Sony and Microsoft have different suppliers and manufacturers for their console? Because otherwise Microsoft will have to do exactly the same...Oh fuck hope this shit is not true :

Sorry but I kinda don't get your point there, I'm not good at English.

Beat me to it lol. Only thing i can think of is the ssd/cooling? Unless Sony really is using hbm flash bolt or aqua bolt.Do Sony and Microsoft have different suppliers and manufacturers for their console? Because otherwise Microsoft will have to do exactly the same...
Ok, I'll try and explain better.
Heat rises. So would the fan be better if it was above the board, to catch the heat and remove it?
Sorry guys, I don't want to derail the thread with my lack of knowledge on fans haha.
I think no or at least not so much influence. Because my graphics card is like this. The fan is under the mother board.Ok, I'll try and explain better.

Doesn't make sense to me. How does supply contraints stop them from telling us their final or at least target specs.Oh fuck hope this shit is not true :

The speeds at which these fans operate pretty much nullifies the heat rising effect, at this point it is just based on not sucking in all the dust particles from the bottom but instead pulling in from the sides (fan being situated at the top) and/or directly from the top. For consoles, it is generally been the way that fans have been on the top of the board when they are horizontal.Ok, I'll try and explain better.

cards are like that because that is the standard orientation for mother boards. also size of heat sink + chassis + fan + their orientation must affect to the cooling efficiency. GPUs are thin and long/wide so it is different than cooling console that have different diameters.I think no or at least not so much influence. Because my graphics card is like this. And almost every graphics card is the same ( I guess?)

Inside the case, gfx card manufacturers do not have to worry about the dust getting in, since pretty much any enthusiast grade case have good isolation. Also it has been the normal orientation of motherboards and PCI expansions to have space below the board of the said expansion. It is not a question of, if they can have space above their designated board, but how much down they can have it, like 2 spaces or 3? Is the gfx card a thicc boi or not basically.Do you know what, I just looked at my own, and the fans are on the bottom... I would have put money they were on the top. *twat mode engaged* (also glad I did because I didn't notice my rear fans connection had come out lol)

Not enough time to do that now
11 hours till AMD’s event, we’ll see what they’ll reveal, maybe we get some new RDNA 2 info and maybe there’ll be something or new details about the PS5’s GPU....hopefully.So, it's 5th.....
....and nothing???
Yeah, but December 28... That's not accurate anymore I would think.https://www.google.com/amp/s/wccftech.com/nvidia-amd-graphics-cards-price-rising-graphics-dram-gddr6-supply/amp/
“There's nothing to worry right away as the GDDR6 stock is still doing good and we haven't really seen a price increase on consumer graphics cards so far. Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron are also expected to grow their Graphics DRAM supply by 15% in 2020. So if things go smoothly, we might not even feel the impact of the shortages on graphics cards but you never know what's going to happen so once again” December 28

Ok so you didn’t read my postHahaoook. AMD has always said HW RT is part of the RDNA 2 architecture. There is no such thing as HW RT in RDNA 1.0. Cerny confirmed that the PS5 had HW RT. When Series X was confirmed by Spencer to be version 2.0 it doesn't take a genius to conclude PS5 also will be. But when your favourite piece of plastic becomes religion I guess it is hard to acknowledge such things....
First it was "oh but Cerny never said it had HW RT in the first Wired article." Then when he confirned it, people started with this "oh but Sony has never confirmed RDNA 2.0". And we have these github truthers going on constantly now. Wonder what the excuse will be if PS5 is more than 9.2 TF.

Correct. With the cornoavirus everything is far from smooth. Cant say its far fetched that to think luke was on to something about the delays and the supply concerns. Would also explain why so many insiders was betting on a feb reveal. But my only concern about that one is we would of heard something about it. >.>Yeah, but December 28... That's not accurate anymore I would think.
I wouldn’t say that he’s an insider, he has a huge YouTube channel which talks gaming and I doubt he is saying something to gain more publicity. It must mean something or maybe nothing.Oh look another "insider" who knows fuck all
-The number allways is a joke.WAIT!
Do I understand that correctly? Cause you said...
Edit: Which I also noticed. From now on you actually wanted to bring hints every day. But suddenly you solved it.
BTW sick solution.

Because Kleegamefan said there’ll be a February reveal of PS5 and then he warned that plans may change, it looks like they’ve changed their plans.
So it was all a joke?-The number allways is a joke.
-The game was for fun.
-The gift was an avatar with the 13.8 number.
-The game is over early because my mailbox was saturanting and also because some users have told me (ryghtly) that it is not a good time to make games with riddles.
Most problems with cooling aren't because of air flow. You can't cheat basic physics so if you use air to cool something down, you need certain volume and flow rates. Does your console still work? So it's properly cooled. Is it a whiny bitch like my PS4Pro? The fan is operating at higher speed so it doesn't overheat (because then it shuts down to protect it from frying). It is an intake fan. But the problem isn't wholly the fan, yes it lacks proper ventilation space for ample air to pull, but the heat sink that is in front of the fan is very small. And after heat sink it goes through the PSU in not a straight fashion, so some hot air is always stuck there, since the exhaust ports are also not ample. There is also the issue that on top of the back of the unit, there are some flaws that lets in hot air towards the inside of the unit and should be sealed by users....
Cant be more honest than that man, respect.Well folks... Tonights the night... and its going to happen again, and again...

Remember what I said folks, keep your expectations in check, and if nothing comes of all this, I apologise. Could be anything. Could be nothing. Could be info on one system, or the other. Could be a load of hot air. I'm suited up just in case, and will greet you all with a smile (as your roasting me alive no doubt), and will not be doing a Fisher.

So it was all a joke?
Yeah I know but to Colt’s credit (even though he’s one of the biggest Xbox fanboys out there pushing lies and misinformation), but he did have the 12 TFLOPS RDNA for Xbox Series X days before the Windows Central article was published to be honest.Around times like this everyone "knows" something. YouTube following means nothing, look at that moron colteast for example lol
What part of 13.8 is realistic to you![]()

I don’t think a guy like Luke would be saying something like that for clout, but hey, maybe his “old pal” that he mentioned was BSing him, but it just raised my eyebrows, because it lines up with what Klee had, but carry on.
No.So it was all a joke?
Ah NOW I totally understand.Play it on "Give Me God of War" difficulty and your shit gonna get squeezed hard like spaghetti! The most complete games ever made, Perfect gameplay, graphics, story-telling.
By the way, Marco Polo brought macaroni from my region (Dhofar/Dhulfar) back in 1285 AD. The local dish is known as "Atreyah" but wrote as "Ittriya" in Italian books, and it's a dessert cooked with brown sugar and coconut. We learned the method though from China, indeed. So we share some history together![]()
Supply chain issues.. It could be Sony uses PS4 launch trajectory to determine how many units they would need for launch and realize they may not make it. MS knows their console demand wont be as high as Sony, can launch without the stress of having enough supply of Series X for whichever territories they want to.
Would be better for Sony to rather launch in main territories and stagger their launch in other markets, rather than an outright delay PS5 for a later worldwide launch.
Im sure they know this too. I don't believe this rumor.
Do you know what, I just looked at my own, and the fans are on the bottom... I would have put money they were on the top. *twat mode engaged* (also glad I did because I didn't notice my rear fans connection had come out lol)
