15 tf, 32 gig of ram. Lol.
That's the devkit's specs, not retail PS5.
15 tf, 32 gig of ram. Lol.
He does say, “latest proposed” specs, so maybe because they’re still making minor tweaks to the GPU daily trying to see how close they can get the retail TF to the devkit TF and this is what they’ve came up with so far, doesn’t mean it’s final. And as for the release date and price, again, this guy apparently isn’t a dev, he’s ALLEGEDLY within SIE, maybe this is the current release date and price they’re going for as of now, anything can change. If this is a dev kit, then why would the pastebin say it's the proposed base model PS5 spec, and also have a release date and price?
I’ll post it here when I find it.Hmm, interesting. Do you have a link to the stream where it's timestamped?
I forget. Fisher claimed 12tf RDNA 2.0?
Good on him for getting it right then. And people were bashing this guy for weeks.
$799 with Official Playstation 5 fire extinguisher pack inPastebin spec is
4ghz cpu
2.1 ghz gpu
15tf
32gb gddr6
1.5tb SSD
Comes with a pack-in game
Nov 20, 2020
$499
Maybe $699.
the last known revision was in JanuaryHave Rogame, Komachi etc. essentially confirmed this?
Haven't posted a ton, busy busy. Appreciate you compiling these posts of theirs tho. Lines up a lot with what I was thinking in terms of at least one of the earlier Oberon revisions being an RDNA2 chip. So I guess the question now is if the full chip size is actually at 40 or somewhat larger.
If it's just 40 then would they be better off having the full chip on but clocking it at 1900MHz, I wonder? Also have they found out anything else about Oberon E0 in particular?
So the data in E0 revision was testing Oberon itself and not Ariel iGPU profile?

PS5 Latest Proposed Core Specification - 11/03/2020 (base model, not PS5 Pro) - Pastebin.com
Pastebin.com is the number one paste tool since 2002. Pastebin is a website where you can store text online for a set period of time.pastebin.com
The YT channel MarlonGamingNation (direct link to channel), posted this pastebin link on the chat that was sent to him from someone who he says is a legitimate inside source within SIE iirc. This Marlon guy though does have connections within Sony, he was also actually in one of the documentaries they made for (I THINK) God of War. Also, that Ubisoft or Activision developer that mentioned a 14TF PS5 devkit in existence, watches his stream daily and out of nowhere on one of his streams, mentioned an ergonomic adjustable grip for the PS5 controller in the comments. And in one his streams from late February, his SIE source told him that the PlayStation store for PS5 will have a completely separate UI and will be called GAMERS’ MARKET with features like trading/buying games with credits or something. Idk exactly what he said, but here’s the link to THAT PART of the stream. Even though he says his source is legit, I always took whatever he said with a HUGE grain of salt, until about two days ago on Wednesday, March 11th. His source told him during that day’s stream, that the Ellie edition for TLOU2 will be restocked and go on sale again on March 13th on the PlayStation Direct store. And today...
This is why I’m starting to think his source actually has a chance of being legit, but again this is all just pure speculation. That pastebin link says they’ve unlocked 15.05TF by clocking 56 CU’s all the way up to a whopping 2.1 GHz on the devkit (Those are devkit specs because there’s no way in hell we’re getting 32GB of RAM on the retail version) but iirc, Marlon said they were looking to settle at somewhere around 11TF in one of his recent streams, which is the current number that’s been floating around recently. Now, I’m not asking you guys to 100% believe whatever this dude says, but at least when it comes to rumours, I think we should treat all rumours equally instead of quickly moving to dismiss them. They all have an equal chance of being true or false just because of the fact that Sony has barely mentioned ANYTHING regarding the PS5 up until now. Just my humble opinion, what do you guys think about this?
the last known revision was in January
This is Oberon not for Ariel i think he/she made a mistake
It would be good if someone took screenshot of all their specs before and after they come outI can't wait for when the boxes come out and we see a comparison analysis - What was speculated versus what is factual. It will be an interesting topic.
Yeah because he is a liar and bad troll.
Trolls can just copy what others say, 12tflops and rdna2 have been "public" for months as tech sawwy speculation.
Unbelievable that some people still defend him, as stupid as defending that Santa Claus is real(or god(s)) so it is what it is
kareemna external storage is something nobody knows about, it’s a really interesting area. Its possible they could allow external drives that act as a secondary drive for storage but still require you to move files to the primary for gameplay? In that case you could have any speed or Male and it would be fine.
But to PLAY off an external? They would likely go down the official add on route and that is always expensive.
It’s a really good question, and one I would love to know.
Btw, this is the name of that Activision developer that I was talking about that mentioned a 14TF PS5 devkit and adjustable ergonomic grips for the PS5 controller.

The thing is, if we check the test DF did benchmarking the extended storage load times on PS4, they are mostly faster. I think they mention something along the lines since the external isnt being utilized by the OS so the IO is not actually being hampered by anything. We do know speeds are throttled on consoles for compatibility and stability among other things.
No, she just mentioned it in the comments as Marlon was asking her about the controller specs.Did they go into any details on the adjustable grips?
The trouble is that the drive has to match what’s internal in terms of random read and wrote speed, otherwise you performance will be hampered, and neither company will allow that.
You can’t compare sticking an SSD into a last gen machine, it wasn’t built around an SSD foundation.
Ah I 've seen that name before:
Wait according to this thread Sony will always have the same TF number for devkit and retail console.......... Ding Ding DingThese are devkit specs, please read the full post.
Again the same mantra?
37 times talking about the same shit.... after checking all your posts.

Should they come here and repeat it over, and over, and over, and over, again. like you do?
You've made your 9.2 point already man, give it a rest.
And even better, the decked out dev kit is called "the base model, not PS5 Pro" and launch on Nov 20th for $499 with a first party pack in game.Wait according to this thread Sony will always have the same TF number for devkit and retail console.......... Ding Ding Ding
New TF number enter the Arena, welcome 15

Who doesn't want a true generational leap?
It seems a pretty worthwhile thing to keep talking about
Where would the hbm be located? Right in the apu. So whatever your heat savings are, would be equalled out by it being right on top of the GPU/cpu.Btw using HBM will decrease power consumption and thus heat output.
Hbm2 isn't nearly as expensive as people think. Last we heard it was ~$120 for a 16gb stack.5GB/s 1tb SSD sounds like fanciful stuff to me, combined with 16gb HBM2 will be hella expensive.
... by being well informed, I guess (?How do you know these stuff?
Who doesn't want a true generational leap?
I think just about every gamer does except ones who prefer wanting a next gen system at $300-400.Who doesn't want a true generational leap?
It seems a pretty worthwhile thing to keep talking about
why would AMD still have tests with a 9.2TF chip well into 2019 if that dev kit was from 2017 and replaced with one with higher performance?

i think first one to mention OBR December revision (Oberon C0) was AquariusZi back in NovemberYeah I remember them mentioning this a few days ago and had a misinterpretation but corrected it a little bit later. Appreciate the links providing some clarification, very helpful/useful stuff.
The Discord gang has some real commitment, I'll give them that.Still talking about github.![]()

But what IS a true generational leap? Personally, I think it’s the one with the holodeck.
My father once slipped from the roof of our house and landed behind my sister and her kids I'd say it was a 2 generations leap. But what IS a true generational leap? Personally, I think it’s the one with the holodeck.
Thats like 5 gens away and some amazing Innovation required in science.
I think a true next gen leap is just a good one, where theres a very noticeable upgrade in several areas
Dude is hard to understand that in bc boost mode sony wants to push the clock for ps4 titles? Ps4pro in BC boost mode is 2.5 tf and native is 4.2 tf."9.2TF are from 2017" well that's a bunch of bollocks isn't it... why would AMD still have tests with a 9.2TF chip well into 2019 if that dev kit was from 2017 and replaced with one with higher performance?
"Sony doesn't need you anymore, BUT WE LOVE YOU! You're our little 9.2TF angel!" -AMD, 2017 probably
that honestly makes her info seem more fishy than it already does.
imagine using Discord. The Discord gang has some real commitment, I'll give them that.
Wtf dude your past 2 pages are non stop posts about github.are we back to 3 months ago again ? God hope not.imagine using Discord.

9.2 tf in BC boost mode and 11 or whatever in native
So ofcourde they keep testing it for BC
I would say the same about someone who don't believe in GOD, you should stop calling people stupid for believing in GOD, i advise you to keep it for yourself.Unbelievable that some people still defend him, as stupid as defending that Santa Claus is real(or god(s)) so it is what it is
Some people like reading the tech spec PDFs of chip parts online. Others like reading Game of Thrones. They're both good but one's definitely more fictional than the other![]()
No they keep the native chip test hidden better with fewer access. So it hasn't been found as they know komachi and gang has always been data mining .this could be, but it is weird that we only ever find BC tests isn't it? no full chip tests anywhere... weird...

join us brotherWtf dude your past 2 pages are non stop posts about github.are we back to 3 months ago again ? God hope not.
From my sources it will use wooden gears and steam and be about 200 horsepower.
That's the Github incongruity for you.According to Komachi, FCLK is Infinity Fabric Clock. So assuming Oberon is the PS5, its not monolithic? Why would you need infinity fabric for a monolithic chip? Its entire function is to act as a high bandwidth interconnect between multiple dies.
