I heard of a similar bug in PSNow. Wasn't there a thread for it?I was subbed for GP. Great service. But the sum bishes stole three of my games that I already owned that were also on GP. As soon as the games were no longer available on GP, I didn't have access to those games anymore. And you can't talk to a rep to get this matter resolved. They can suck it now. Microsoft done fucked up.
GP must be really successful, since how it upsets certain people.
Yeah man, Stadia threads and Game Pass threads, love 'em.
It's the ultimate gaming service for all types of gamers, unless you're a Sony or Nintendo or PC gamer only.
It's the gift that keeps on giving.
So Tomb Raider, RDR 2, Gears 5, GTA 5, Nier, FF15, FH4, Metro Exodus, DMC5, Witcher 3, Batman, Halo 5 etc are lower tier games?
I agree that Gamepass is huge value and is a good service, I dont do streaming so no interest in PS now.
Its a bold move by MS, the issue I have with it is the desire to make games for gamepass, and so you have lower tier ambitions.
I would rather have 2 or 3 highly polished incredible games than 50 lower tier ones that just add to a backlog.
For next gen I want next gen only games pushing everything that cant even load on current gen, which does not blend well with a netflix type service.
Never said they were. Thats list is also third party similar to games with plus and MS first party.
My point was there is the danger going forward (or tendency) for more first party small team projects with existance of such schemes. Do you not think so ?

please quantify how one is head and shoulders above the other..? i have both and find that both services has excellent features the other hasn'tBoth are 10$. Difference is one is heads and shoulders a superior service.
And because you guys are so predictable, if you're going to come back with something don't come to me with that 1$ BS.
In the 3 years Gamepass has existed there is nothing that leads us to believe that is the direction MS is going towards. Going forwards it also doesn't look like small projects is MS' first party focus.
343 is AAA
Coalition is AAA
Turn 10 is AAA
Playground is AAA
The Initiative is AAA
Hellblade 2 is AAA (Ninja Theory)
InXile are hiring for a AAA game
Obsidian is AAA
Then you have studios like Undead, Compulsion games and Double who pay be making AA projects. Which is totally fine. There is room in the industry for 40h blockbuster games, 8h single player AA games, quircky multiplayer games, indie games etc.
And if you have a look at the Gamepass catalogue it is exactly the above.
Yup. That's why Microsoft wants to turn "AA" State of Decay franchise to AAA with State of Decay 3 (Undead Labs had hiring spree lately). That's why Hellblade 2 will be bigger. Thats why Playground is working on big Fable reboot and Initiative is working on Perfect Dark reboot. And also Obsidian who is working on big RPG game. And I'm not even talking about 500+ devs at 343 Industries.Never said they were. Thats list is also third party similar to games with plus and MS first party.

neither is PS NOW for PS4 games, but you have the option. great way to check out a game before downloading itI didn't even know game pass was a streaming service.

What's the danger? Halo Infinite, Fable, Hellsblade 2 etc are AAA and are big budget games and are launch on Game Pass Day 1.
There is no danger in a decline of AAA bug budget games.
As long as the company can continue to subsidise the upfront investment long enough to turn a profit, it shouldn't be a problem.
The same can't be said for Nintendo or Sony since they can't afford the upfront investment to eventually make a profit years down the line, everybody knows this except Sony fan boys which continue to be in denial that this is a market that Sony cannot effectively compete in.
You know this won't be the case... Also I have no clue what making a game available on current-gen consoles has to do with that same game not able to deliver a different experience on the XSX that pushes gaming forward.I just want to see next gen games on next gen consoles - which we wait for. If all teh games next month are XSX only and eally push things forward, will get an XSX. If not, I will wait. Same for Ps5.

Gamepass is clearly a better service than PSNow at the moment, in terms of overall game selection.
But PSnow doubled its amount of subscribers in 6 months. With the PS5 being BC it will be cost effective for Sony to supply Psnow with a lot more AA and AAA games from the PS4 generation, and it will be a nice point of entry for anyone coming into Playstation for the first time.
I think Sony is positioning it very well to have the PSnow grow pretty big without it being at the cost of expectations, and with that I mean people expecting Sony first party day 1 on the service.
We will see what Sony does, but doubling its subscribers in 6 months is pretty impressive.
This is just delusional, of course Sony and Nintendo can compete if they want to.What's the danger? Halo Infinite, Fable, Hellsblade 2 etc are AAA and are big budget games and are launch on Game Pass Day 1.

I main on Ps4 ...also have xb1, and streaming service I dont even look at, only to laugh at Stadia of course (Obligatory).
oh no it's popular? and i don't use it... that means i'm not doing what is most popular! oh no! ahhh! i'm not doing the thing that most people are doing, so i'm a bad person! oh no! please forgive me! please. i'm sorry. i will try to follow along with what other people are doing instead from now on. i swear! /s
Jesus Christ, fanboy much? What a disingenuous piece of shit article..... there are news reports everywhere saying PS4 sales are well over 110 million.
XBox sales are at 46 million. That is much less than half. You can't just cut 10 million from PlayStation sales.... cut 10 million away from XBox too, in that case.....
What an annoying load of shit.
let's see what they have in the oven first
if hellblade II is AAA like the first one (and other game from MS)...the debate can exist.
Exactly why Sony should never do it. Check out the Capcom sales for the year thread.... hahahaJesus Christ, fanboy much?
I swear some of yall are permanently cupping Sony's balls or something. You don't have to be monogamous with mega-corporations folks. They don't give a shit about you.
On Topic: I use gamepass on PC and love it. The fact that I never have to buy a microsoft console for their games is amazing. Wish Sony would put Now on PC as well.
Most people don't even know that PSNow has both streaming and downloads.I didn't even know game pass was a streaming service.

In to this party late, but it's only this popular because of those promos they had where you can get it for a year for super cheap and the conversion of your current XBL Gold subs to GamePass Ultimate. I converted my 3 year sub to XBL Gold to GamePass Ultimate for $1. Once those subs fizzle out from that promo GamePass will most definitely fall off and be on even keel with Playstation Now
Not wishing hard enough to even bother checking, it seems. With a simple Google search (or maybe Bing suits you better), you find this page:Wish Sony would put Now on PC as well.
They've all already released critically acclaimed games and score 80+ on Meta. So no need to be "concerned".
Hellblade was AA and better than 90% of games released on both Xbox or PlayStation so there's no debate to be had.
This is a very fair point. Currently, it only allows streaming on PC, and it needs to improve its quality to justify the money.A lot of it is how confusing PS Now is. I didn't even know it was on PC until yesterday. They need to improve the quality of stream as well. Value is higher with Game Pass atm.
Laugh all you want, but the moment people's cheap subs expire and they're stuck with paying full price for the service they'll abandon it in droves. The only redeeming quality for owning GamePass Ultimate is access to exclusives at launch. If they don't up their exclusives for next gen and it plays out like this gen they're screwed.
Streets of Rage 4, human Fall Flat, red dead redemption 2, Doom 2016, GTA V, Witcher 3
All say hi.
Cute response, but nobody will care about any of those titles in a few years when next gen is in full swing which is the point of what I was saying. Those games you mention are only on GamePass for a limited time. If these titles were to stay on the service forever you'd have a legitimate argument

Look at you trying so hard to make it look like people won't stay. Do you realize how easy it is for people and parents to look at this and think "for the price of 2 games a year.. maybe, I can get access to hundreds of games?" It's a no brainer, especially when exclusives are permanently in the mix. People will also very clearly care about the next-gen games that will also populate the service.Cute response, but nobody will care about any of those titles in a few years when next gen is in full swing which is the point of what I was saying. I don't us ps now because the psn store has great deals which allow me to buy the games I want for ridiculous prices.
While on the xbox, AAA game discounts are but unheard of, making game pass a really sweet gig ... that basically 'forces' you to stay subscribed because otherwise you have to cough up 50s and 60s in order to play AAA games.
You're talking BS and Gamepass has been here for more than 3 years now. PS Now has been there since forever and is a flop. Worst part, it's being given away for free.
