Game of the show for you?

Horizon and Ratchet were the only next gen looking games to me. And Ratchet looked really high action like I haven't seen before, so that was cool.

Demon's Souls, but that's based on my general love for the game, not from anything new they showed today. I have big question marks about most of the other games show, but I'm sure Hitman III will be great.

1. Demons
2. Horizon
3. Spidey (if it's a full game)
4. Ratchet (trade with Spidey if not full game lol)
5. Village (only 5th because it's not a real Resident Evil, i miss Resident Evil, for me it has been on a alternate universe since RE3)
6. GT (because I'm not a sports fan)

Only desilusións:
No Silent Hill remake or sequel
And no Killzone or Resistance (either remasters or reboots), i need my sci fi FPS fix for the new gen.... it has been a long waiting 😔

1. Horizon: Breath of the Wild. (I think Guerilla will take the complaints reviewers had to heart that you couldn't travel the way Zelda did). Playstation tend not to be the originators of things but they are masters at innovation. Nintendo will have to do some work on the next Zelda.
2. Demon's Souls. Enough said, would love a bit of gameplay, but Bluepoint have my trust.
3. Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Insomniac acquisition paying off in spades. Two launch games and two top tier starters. Spider-Man will move consoles.
4. Rachet & Clank: Rift Apart. The level changes in seconds is wild.
5. Super Sackboy 3D World. I got so much 3d Mario vibes from it. Sony finally catering for the young, neglected normally by 1st party. Going for Nintendo market.

GT7, Housemarque now first party (finally secure, I was worried as like Platinumgames they make great games that don't sell as it should),

Regarding 1st party, my only worry is Astrobot in non VR. I'm hoping it's a free game with the PS HD camera like last time. I hope Sony keep the faith in VR.

My favourite moment of the show, by far, was during the Horizon trailer when a peasant pulled out a potato from the ground that looked like a pointy dildo.

Kena whitout a doubt. Setting aside the technical side and that seems to have the subsurface scattering that nVidia promised in their demos since 2006 and that never arrived, it looks… consoley? I don’t know, it gives strong beyond good and evil gameplay feels.

Simple mechanics, inmersive world, linear design, beautiful scenarios, progresssion… it was old school promising. And in this world of open sandbox, free to play, battle royale, first person, loot populated, npc filled, side quest flooded, collectible pest, game design… it seems like a lot to promise.

Ratchet & Clank, looking forward to playing it. Looked great and fun

Resi and Ratchet. Too bad Resi has already leaked, but it looked really cool. Ratchet looked amazing, I love this series so much and this looks like it picks up right where A Crack in Time left off.

My game of the show was easily Ratchet. It looked like two separate ratchet games were running on screen at one time. Wildly impressive.

Imagine what we will see in this gen in a few years

Was Spider Man Miles Morales ...Spider Man 2? Or like a DLC expansion?

But too many to just say one favourite:

- Horizon 2
- Spiderman
- Ratchet & Clank
- Project Athia
- Returnal
- Hitman 3
- Demon Soul's
- Village: RE
- Pragmata

So a lot of favourites lol. :D

Great showing.

To be entirely honest, most everything showed at the Sony show has some degree of appeal to me and I will likely play many of them. But here's a list to satiate you demanding scumsuckers:

1. Kena: Bridge Of Spirits
2. Returnal
3. Ghostwire: Tokyo
4. Sackboy: A Big Adventure (Super Mario 3D World but with LBP styling? Hell to the yes)
5. Resident Evil 8

Games left off and why:

1. Horizon: Forbidden West - Looks great, but more of what we expect. So no real reason to give it a major spotlight.
2. Deathloop - Need questions answered. Really digging the aesthetic, but is there some kind of asymmetric MP? Is it purely an AI v. player setup?
3. Demon's Souls - I have to know more. A straight remake or reimagining? It's still, in my opinion, the weakest Souls game outside of Sekiro.
4. Gran Turismo 7 - Just not for me. It's the same basic approach to racing games, just the latest iteration.
5. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart - Rule 34 incoming
6. Godfall - I'd give it the nod had the trailer not been blasting music that does not compliment the game. I need a deeper dive, too, before I'm willing to commit to a looter-slasher.

GerAlt-Right. Ciriously.
1. Horizon Zero Dawn
2. Ratchet and Clank
3. Demons Souls
4. Hitman 3.

Biggest disappointment was Godfall. It seemed like a big exclusive and that reveal was very underwhelming and not just because of the music.

In order:

Kena (magical)
Demon Souls (souls itch with nx-gen graphics - my lawd)
Project Athia (looked crazy good and intriguing)
Ratchet and Clank (fun, fun, SSD, fun)
Sacboy ( Back for more, co-op fun)
Returnal (what a step up here, surprised, and the enemies/combat looked interesting).
Ghostwire (weird and intriguing)
Horizon ( I kinda expected it so I wasn't surprised - I'm pretty sure it will floor me when they show an extended gameplay demo)

Ratchet and Clank for me. The “rifting” looked seamless and the graphics are starting to push Pixar level in some ways. I’ve always enjoyed the series and looking forward to this one!

Edit: Kena also looks like it has a lot of potential. Love the colorful open world.

1 - Horizon II: Forbidden West actually made my jaw drop. Have not been blown away by a reveal like that since BotW.

2 - Demon Souls remake also looks really good.

3 - Kena: Bridge of Spirits looks like a cross between Breath of the Wild, Horizon Zero Dawn and Pikmin of all things.

Didnt feel much for any of them but Pragmata, Kena, Hitman III, Little Devil Inside, and Oddworld looked the most appealing of what was shown.

Some cool stuff so this is hard:

Horizon: Overall the game of the show for me. Loved the original, the visuals looks absolutely amazing and I think the fact it's only the second game in the franchise makes it more exciting than the others I liked

Ratchet: Also looked really good and definitely was the best at showing some of the advantages of the SSD.

Demon Souls: It's a Demon Souls remake........ never thought we'd get that. The trailer didn't blow me away but the screenshots they've released look amazing. My only gripe is that I don't like some of the design changes on enemies.

I love Ratchet, but that one didn’t do much for me... Looked like more of the same? Maybe it was the stream, but it didn’t look that great either - I need to hunt down a trailer to understand where these Pixar comments are coming from....

Edit: okay, just watched the standalone trailer. Much more excited about it now. Still think some of the comments on the looks are over the top, but the story looks great!

Is Little Devil Inside coming to other platforms?

Although details of the deal cannot be disclosed at this stage, Little Devil Inside will be coming to PS5 on a PlayStation "Timed" Exclusive basis and it will also come to the existing PS4 system.

This does not affect our plans to release for PC concurrently.

Little Devil Inside: Latest Post

It looks like it has been in development for several years and was set to originally release for multiple platforms: X1, PS4 and Wii U. Looking at the comments, some of the backers seem really upset and want their money back. lol
