Better question is does he really understand what developers are telling him?
Because that could make him interpret things the wrong way. Like not understanding the real power difference between the two systems. Not that I'm accusing him of doing that but it's a possibility.

I remember watching the last year of videos he did before this one and you can hear the disappointment after disappointment from the xbox games reviews and quality just gut punching him then the uppercuts with the goty quality releases and praises playstation games were getting. It was basically this moment that broke the guy and he saw the light.

Just my 2 cents, at the end of the day it comes down to developers. I would put Sony's studios on a 10TF system up against any of Microsoft's studios on a 25TF system.

How much does an RT reflection vs traditional methods actually make to a game when often we don't know which is which, or we even miss them entirely.
Will see firsthand soon enough. If the effect is negligible for 30fps cut, it's going off and never coming back. This could be the biggest over hypement since 3d television.
I appreciate full on ray tracing can be transformative, but were not there yet.

Same, my point I may not have got to was you could see his shift over the last year or so prior to that video it was like the Ralph Wiggum heart breaking moment in a sense but properly really a more freeing moment realistically for him you could see him lose faith with 1 direction where he said enough was enough.

If that were to happen it would be completely on HIM and no one else. People don't MAKE other people do bad things. Some people are weak, yes and they can break under pressure to do bad things but the responsibility is still on THEM.
That being said, it's good not to necessarily antagonize people, even if it is fun at the time. Best to just live and let live wherever possible because it is true you never know if you are dealing with a bad or weak person who may break.

I’d say that we’re on the “What and how much can we do with this power”. I don’t see anyone denying XSX is more powerful or say the PS5 is more powerful than the XSX, what I see a lot is people speculating and discussing how the PS5 could use its customizations to do more, etc. It’d be nice to hear about the XSX too, but we don’t have much input from Xbox fans. Two possible factors.
In the first week of this month Switch sold around 3x times PS4 and 12x times Xbox one.
1. Japan moving on to portable and mobile focused gaming.
2. It's been a running gag and meme for maybe 14 years, but some JPN gamers ACTUALLY HAVEN'T been fans of Sony being more western centric since the PS4 was announced. Legit thing to think about whether people like it or not.

I'm skeptical of all gaming "insiders", but to RGT's credit, his rumors are much more pointed than most, in that he's usually citing specific features and items, rather than some nebulous "amazing game" or "amazing feature". He's more than just a broken clock, which most "insiders" come across as, with their glorified guesses.

No it’s just that Japan love handhelds. DS, PSP, 3DS, PSV, now the Switch and Switch Lite, all sell great in Japan. Thats part of why Xbox has no sales there. Japan clearly prefers Japanese brands, like Sony and Nintendo, but even Nintendo home consoles don’t sell well in Japan, and that’s part of why Nintendo stopped making home consoles. Almost no one in Japan wanted a Wii U, they bought a 3DS.
PS4 sells fine in Japan, but it’s held back by its form factor. The recent PS4 sales numbers are down worldwide because it’s 7 years old, sales always drop off after 5 years or so. PS5 hype is hurting PS4 sales too I bet.
All that said, the Japanese market clearly prefers Japanese games over western games, so that’s true too. Just look at how well Ghost of Tsushima is selling in Japan currently. But, Ghost is western made, so that’s interesting, and Days Gone also sold really well in Japan, which is a very western game, so sometimes there’s exceptions.

To be honest I think is more than a simple reason, they buy its consoles base in the games
but if they can use in the subway is extra good between others things.
But is very common to found hardware and software of PS4, in that way I found my Gravity Rush.
