can't see any (i quickly glanced over it to try avoid spoilers). there is only one for beating the story but doesn't say anything about difficulty.

there are hidden trophies which are tied to the story so who knows maybe there is one there for difficulty.

There is a short 10 second clip ( console footage ) in the leak/spoilers thread of walking down an alley maybe into some kind of market and the NPC density is quite good. No shortage at all. Like if there were too many more you'd have trouble just walking down the alley. It looks good.

I can understand the issue on console because population/traffic density is what it is. You get what you get.

So in some places and at certin times of day there may not be many NPCs around but in others you'll encounter LOTS. Even though I've seen examples of very solid NPC density I can imagine this will be a divisive issue. Some people will think the population density is high enough and some will want more.

On PC I'm sure the density will be able to go much higher just in the settings menu and there will no doubt be Mods that push it to ridiculous levels for those that want it.

Should be able to match PS4 Pro I'm hoping. I could even live with 30fps locked w/vsync @ 1080p (being a slow paced RPG and not a twich shooter), but hoping it can do 60 in fact. Sure would be nice to have a free benchmark tool released ahead of the game, CDPR. But of course you don't have time for that and I get it.

Obviously it’s going to look a lot worse than the promotional videos but 2 maybe two months worth of crunch patch may make it a bit better.

I have my expectation in check. Even the base PS4 looks bad and the PS4 Pro is running at 1080p. This game is demanding as fuck.

it'll be playable but my guess is it'll run at 1080p ~40fps at low/medium settings. 1080p 30fps with medium/high settings maybe. depends on the difference in quality/performance of the settings and what cpu/ram you have and if you have an SSD or not.

I'm guessing that GTX 980 should be able to do 60fps or close to it at console equivalent settings. This channel along with DF will share their findings soon enough.

I have Friday off, so I can play straight after work on Thursday (Australia) and not have to really slow down till Sunday night lol, but I think once I see that day 1 patch download complete it’s going to hard to stay focused on my remaining work day (should only be 5 hours)

It’s been confirmed that the mid gen refreshes have a quality and performance modes. I think they also said it defaults to performance mode at 60fps.

edit: ignore me. Maybe I’m mistaking this for another game. The performance and auality modes are confirmed though.

apparently NPCs use your voice to identify you.

for example, if i make V have a female appearance (with a hidden dick) but with a male voice then NPCs will talk as if i'm male.

at that resolution you won't have any significant bottlenecking with that cpu/gpu. would only be an issue if you were playing at 1080p.

also, all the intel CPU's are either 4c/4t or 4c/8t so the 6700K should be fine. they have a 6700 (non-K) for 4k rtx so don't worry

I honestly am glad it's first person. I don't seem to enjoy RPG games as much in third person. What about it reminds you of GTA? I've played a ton of GTA and I honestly can't see it. The only thing that reminds me of it is the driving & radio stations. The combat is way different, and obviously the story & setting.

Yeah, I find myself struggling to get immersed in third person games. I'm too aware I'm playing a game if that makes sense? Hard for me to really get lost in it. Being able to create your own character and whatnot is really going to make this more immersive than most single player games out there.

Deus Ex is some of the most immersed I've ever been in a video game, I have a feeling it will be the same deal here.

I wouldn't have minded if you had the option to switch between third and first, but I would have mostly used first person regardless.

That is pretty normal for Cyberpunk. The genre is meant to be that way.
