I believe Reviewers had access to a patch. Not the Day 1 patch, but a reviewer build patch that people who got the game earlier didn't have access to. There's no way CDPR would send copies of the game, to reviewers, in a state where you can't turn a corner without running into a bug or performance issue. That's just asking for trouble.

I preordered the game on Xbox One X for cheap on Amazon months ago but I was able to get a PS5 console! It will play better on PS5 even without the update but I will need to pay full price for it. I'm torned.

I bought a brand new pc and monitor for this and I can’t wait. PC is here already and I’m loving how fast it is and how good the graphics look on various games. The 3080 is legit. Monitor gets delivered on Wednesday so perfect timing!

So according to the internet there's not going to be much of a difference between the PS4/One and new consoles until next year's patch/update, so I guess I'll preorder on Steam to preload and just play in 1440p for now. Maybe I'll treat myself to a monitor that supports HDR and 144MHz, my old 32" 1440 is long in the tooth.

The thing is, most aren’t even the “victim” they are supposedly so offended that they need to protect.
My bet is that the game likely doesn’t even really lean in too heavy in trans anything, and yet this idiots are approaching this like it’s some sort of transbashing simulator.
If folks want to discuss the issues that the game in fact touch on, all the best. I have read anywhere from 25 to 40 hours for the main story. Tons of side content that can stretch it out to 100 hours or more from what I’ve also read.

kinda shocking to think this time tomorrow night I will have 25% of the game preloaded (shit internet) after 8 long years. Nearly 8 years ago I built a PC in preparation for Cyberpunk ......................... erm just bought a new PC in the last month to play cyberpunk. I am grateful this game is not being delayed again, cos I can't afford to keep buying bloody PC's

I have to wonder what the actual difference with the next gen versions will be. Is it going to be worth waiting for? I couldn’t give a fuck about ray tracing, for example. If it’s a texture bump, increased res and a few other bells and whistles that don’t impact gameplay, I don’t see much point in hanging on for months...

Yeah that's where I'm at. I tested Spider-Man Remastered and I'm not impressed by the RTX technology at all. All this hype for this? You notice it more at night but it's really not that impressive while you're playing. It's good for screenshots I guess. The new buzz word.

my 980 owning brother. I think we’re going to have to basically live with having the biggest VRAM munching settings on low or medium max.1060 is recommended and 980 is actually more powerful.

So i would say Good Job on that and although the community here is smaller, its much better and growing bigger each day, the admin is fantastic and its relaxing with some occasional angry aggressive people but they add flavor LOL.
