I watched the video until the end right now. IDK why he is so proud of calling this version the 'PS5 version'...
So fucking weird. 'I trying to replicate the texture settings, but even low is higher, so the PS5 version is using the very low'. LOL
No offense to the PC version because looks so fucking crisp.

Looks like a great port for the most part, and that graphics menu is how I like it, instantly see the results in the background.
The game speed bug looks like where the game would usually stutter (from PS4 console experience, I think ACG also had regular stutter rather than slowdown but I'm not gonna double check now).

The initial camp don't sell guns, but the second one indeed, so you need to choise wisely what you want.
Cooper camp is more 'bike' focused, the other camp you open next will be more gun focus.

Lighting looks better on PS5 no? Looks sunnier. Interesting.Of course I see it. I just don't see it as drastic. It's a bit better. You know... not a remaster type better or anything.
Edit: I mean cmon. It's subtle at best. When You look for it, the textures and loading times are biggest difference but overall it's not that huge.

Looks fantastic on PC and runs well on my hardware (i9 10850k, RTX 3080) at 4K maxed out. Getting over 80 fps for the most part.
The mouse and keyboard controls also work really well, so aiming (which I sucked at in the PS4 original) is improved by leaps and bounds. Almost feels like an arcade shooter now.

Watch the video. The lighting is superior to the PS version. The GI isn't even comparable as the PS version doesn't use GI and it's AO is completely inaccurate. Texturing is also better.

The game is obviously just an upgraded port on the ps5 not built from the ground up to take advantage of its strengths , I fail to see to why you asked why it won't run or are suprised the ps5 version is inferior to the pc version I mean that was a given with this game from the start .

I'm sure if they did a proper native PS5 port, the loading times would be even faster than what we're seeing on Windows 10.
The PS5 version is just the PS4 Pro game running with a boosted frame rate, I believe.

It's one of the "enhanced" backwards compatible games (like God of War and Ghost of Tsushima), but it's still running as a PS4 (Pro) game and isn't a native client developed for PS5.
Maybe they will eventually do a proper PS5 version, but I kind of doubt it...

Had to make a few changes to mouse sensitivity, FOV and keyboard layout, but the gameplay/controls are buttery smooth. I'll never be able to play this on console again. Looks and runs amazing as well. Getting 120+fps.

I heard bad things... and that's the only reason I really want it on PC
It's brighter because there's less shadow detail (very obvious on the foilage). Turn the settings down and you got your "better" looking game on pc aswell.

There is no way I would give up the superior lighting on Very High settings for the fake AO PS version. People need to understand how lighting works.

Me either, im sure they prefer original demon souls over the ps5 version aswell though for that brighter look cause good lighting and shadows is such a step backwards.

The SSGI is the best difference between the two versions, but honestly you won't really miss it if it isn't there, it will still be a good looking game. It's a really good looking game (imo), and pretty good all around, especially later on.
But yeah that SSGI is reaaaally nice.

PS5 'BC' version has improved draw distance and increased polygon count of some models so whilst there is no actual PS5 version, its not exactly just frame rate which is different, it's only logical to compare the best console version to PC even if it's only BC. He says PS5 version to make the comparison easier to understand. I think the average gaming Joe understands what he means.

Wait where is the comparison for PS4 Pro and PS5? Pretty sure the only difference is the 60fps cap. It's literally a PS4 game, there is no difference in the versions.

Gosh why are people not knowing proper info. There's no PS5 version, period. All you get is playing a PS4 version with PS4 Pro resolution on the PS5 with an unlocked frame rate (frame rate unlock patch for PS5) to play at 60fps. There's no improvements besides frame rate on PS5 since it's the PS4 version. There's no PS5 version

This worked for me. I'm using a Glorious Model O mouse if that makes any difference.
