Great hardware numbers and mtx/DLC numbers

- I don't know if they are selling the consoles at profit yet, cause that operating income dropped.
- MTX/DLC increased by 10% instead of decreasing by 20% looking at the previous quarter so that's led to a 4% increase. Anyone has any ideas on that game that what that is happening there?

Didn't Sony say they wanted to sell 22 million ps5s by end of financial year? If so they are gonna have to produce a hell of alot of ps5s if they want to get close to that.

they must have secured some serious wafer allocation. Absolutely amazing performance on the hardware side. I don’t even understand the rest of it to totally get why they are seeing such a drop in other areas, I imagine it’s down to selling the ps5 at a loss?

I thought exclusives and games in general sold really we’ll the first year when the line up is tighter and not as broad as the later years. Early adopters normally want to purchase a lot of games For their hardware?

For example: The Last of Us is one of the best-selling PlayStation 3 games, and Remastered is among the best-selling PlayStation 4 games.[126] By August 2014, the game had sold eight million copies: seven million on PlayStation 3 and one million on PlayStation 4.

And now it's been a good year+ over. I can only assume it did not have any legs.

God of War wasnt updated till 3 years later too. Wouldnt read too much into things, seems like they just randomly update it.

I think they would have shared the one month figure aka 5m as well cause its there in the supplementary information but yeah, Sony releases sell through numbers when it hits a milestone or needs a marketing point

Not true. They never shared God of War data either until last month, and it was sitting at almost 20 million copies on PS4 alone. For all we know, TLOU 2 has already crossed 10 million. We know it outsold Ghost of Tsushima in my many markets, including NA.
