When flash sales were still a thing?Do you remember the last time that steam deals were the shit? i member.
I've made it a ritual to buy a franchise outright every Steam Sale and some other games for $100, but that's all I intend to spend.
pretty much, but even the normal discount are less appealing, you always find a better price in another place. When flash sales were still a thing?
Gamepass or steam sale....
Let the battle for my pennies begin!
But they don't let you refund if you don't like it. Paying a little more is better then getting completely burned.pretty much, but even the normal discount are less appealing, you always find a better price in another place.
Sure but sometimes the price difference is substantial. But they don't let you refund if you don't like it. Paying a little more is better then getting completely burned.
Metaphorically, I hope.I am gonna sodomize my wallet.
Not everyone lives in a world where Microsoft rewards exist.Key sellers may have better prices but you can’t use Microsoft Rewards to score the games for free.
You can do that with Steam.
Nice. What will be your chosen set this time around?

Is that an American thing only? I don't see an option to exchange for Steam in the UK or else I'd be all over it!
I have ethicsjust buy it on Epiconly difference is which program you need to click to launch it.
They are hiddenWait, what are the hidden badges before the sale?
Cool! Always wanted to try those games... are the remakes a good entry point? Somehow I feel I should play the Saturn games first, they look pretty cool with their atmosphere, which I'm not sure the remake is able to replicate. If anyone wants to warm up, the gog discount on Panzer Dragoon is an immoral 90%.

Panzer Dragoon: Remake
A new, remade version of the Panzer Dragoon game – true to the original, with improvewww.gog.com

I'm not your dad so do what you want. The remake works fine on PC, and you've had 25 years to play the Saturn version, so you can't be that keen on playing the fully authentic original. This is the only remake that is out, I think, so you could see it as a demo to see if you want to go deeper. Or you could just play Rez Infinite instead, since Rez is basically a smoother Panzer Dragoon experience.Kinda scared since there are 82 games on my wishlist.

Yeah, in my experience I'm always finding really great deals on Steam - both in and out of traditional sale periods. But I buy/play lots of "off the beaten path" games. Most people complaining must have really narrow taste in games imho. Most of my wishlist is indie games and AA games from a few years back, the kinds that tend to see the steepest discounts, so I am hoping I'll be able to clean up this year.
What i wanted was already on sale anyway so.

The market responded, it was not sustainable in the long run... Also, I think sales are good most of the time, even out of sales periodMeh.
Gone are the days that Steam sales were actually good.
