this is the problem with the victim complex, you treat anyone remotely critical of Xbox as if they’re a PlayStation fanboy instead of just being a gamer who has been disappointed with Xbox for the past decade (especially with how Halo has gone downhill), I wanted Starfield to be great and the fact it wasn’t (in my opinion) didn’t make me happy because I’m not fucking rooting for Xbox to fail, get that through your thick skull, the world isn’t out to get Xbox

I don't have a real problem with anyone that is critical of Xbox, and I haven't mentioned anything about consoles. You guys are too quick to dismiss this as a negative for Nintendo. If ms goes third party, it would be a huge advantage for all of those titles to be the Nintendo Ultra home console. It would flush out the exclusives for all age groups and prevent a ton of aaa games from being on PlayStation. This alo might be the kick Nintendo needs to launch 2 consoles, you know they've been considering it.
You reply above acts like ms games wouldn't be on Nintendo consoles, but they would be regardless of exclusivity. Do you see the garbage they already allow on the Switch? The switch store is full of games that nobody wants, if they can become a third party dev, you can bet ms would be in a second.

I think it pretty easy to see who is only posting positive things about a product and deflecting any bad news if you've been here long enough.
I don't know if you remember that Xbox thread for the full page Starfield ad, but you can't tell me some of the posters in there didn't give you shill vibes with how they were downplaying an interactive full screen ad. I've never meet a person who didn't mind ads, but in that thread, it was a lot of people downplaying against their own interest as a customer.

Vibes sure. But not to the point where I would fully be confident calling them a paid shill. I think people are mostly just stubborn and dont ever want to admit a loss for their team. And some people probably dont actually care or worry about ads or see how bad it could get. A difference of opinion isnt enough for me to call someone that if they regularly post about games and seem normal.

To my knowledge we have only had 1 confirmed paid shill on this forum, and i cant even remember which game it was but that user always defended it to the hilt, then in the end admitted he was a shill and never came back. It got so bad that at one point they had to make a spin-off website to house them which they argued against and didn't get much traffic so it was abandoned).
There are plenty of other examples like this. People need to open their eyes. It should come as no surprise that people have become tired of the bullshit.

But to defend adverts with such a passion. Surely anyone who sincerely likes something, would want it to be better? Why would anyone want an ad infested experience over a non advert one? This is what I dont get. If you love something why wouldnt you want to critique it in the hope that it gets even better? And if you dont care about adverts, then why would you post so passionately about telling everybody how much they dont matter. Its just plain weird.
